About the home

It is our aim to ensure your stay at La Yuka is a memorable one. Villa La Yuka is situated in a very select area and just a few minutes walk from excellent restaurants, bars supermarkets, and just a few minutes drive from probably some of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca.
Quiet and peaceful, yet only ten minutes from the larger resorts such as Torrevieja and Guardamar, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
If you prefer to stay by the pool, the owners have provided plenty of poolside games and activities The large front terrace, surrounded by Palm trees, overlooks the garden and is ideal for evening meals, in the summer the sun sets there at around 10 in the evening It really is a lovely setting with the added benefit of a private driveway to park 2 or 3 cars.

Villa Internal Details
Entering the villa from the rear terrace you will come in to a large modern kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster & coffee maker. Utility room with Washer/dryer - iron & ironing board. and feature archway into a very spacious lounge with two sofas, feature fireplace, TV DVD, video, radio, and fully air conditioned/heating. There are three spacious double ground floor bedrooms two with en-suite bathrooms all have large fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging & storage space. There is also a large family bathroom with walk in shower, toilet & wash basin. The master bedroom has double doors open on to the large sun terrace leading to an 8X4 private swimming pool, very large solarium, with table, chairs, sun loungers. All bed linen and towels are provided. There is a further toilet and wash basin adjoining the rear terrace.

There are three spacious double ground floor bedrooms two with en suite bathrooms; all have large fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging & storage space.

There is also a large ground floor bathroom with walk in shower, toilet & wash basin. The master bedroom has double doors open on to the large sun terrace leading to an 8X4 private swimming pool, very large solarium, with table, chairs + sun loungers. All bed linen and towels are provided. Separate towels for use by the pool or on the beach.

Further details outdoors:
The garden is around a quarter of an acre and as ample areas for sun bathing. The huge solarium has sun all day. The terrace at the front of the house is ideal for dining in the evenings. The private pool gets sun all day, and we have introduced games and activities for the young and the more mature ( young at heart).

The Costa Blanca
The Costa Blanca is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Spain and has been attracting UK tourists to its beautiful beaches since the 1950s. The Costa Blanca has always been hugely popular with families and we can offer great value for a family of six, four or even a couple of families sharing. The kids can go wild at the many water parks, while keen golfers will be in paradise as the area boasts some of the best courses in Spain. So whether you want to chill out on the beach with a book for two weeks or explore the orange groves and colourful orchards in the mountains, put Costa Blanca top of your list for holiday destinations this year.
Out and About
Car hire is recomended, and we can arrange this for you, however there are shops, bars , and restaurants within walking distance, and the quaint Spanish town of Rojales with its interesting cave houses and weekly street market is only a few minutes drive, also the spanish village of Benijofar with a weekly street market selling fresh home grown produce, is only a few minutes drive. The area surrounding La Yuka Villa has everything from beautiful clean blue flag beaches to a vast array of bars & restaurants. It also has many golf courses 3 within 10 minutes drive away at La Marquesa (Ciudad Quesada) Villa Martin, Las Ramblas & Campoamour all pay & play but its best to book (Garry can arrange special discounts for golfers). Cycle hire is available with a free delivery service direct to the villa. Details are in the information folder
The nearest large coastal town is Torrevieja with its vast marinas, and an array of excellent restaurants, shops, coffee houses and bars. Guardamar Del Segura with its European Blue Flag Beaches is only 10 minutes drive, with a good range of shops, a weekly market plus a large marina with a promenade which holds regular evening craft fairs. We have provided an information folder which has been compiled from our guests and our visits, which we hope you find useful.

The Torrevieja Area / La Siesta area

Within walking distance from Villa La Yuka you will find all the amenities you need, excellent restaurants, shops bars and supermarkets. Just a few minutes walk is an aquapark, a must for the kids. The salt lakes of Torrevieja are also just a few minutes walk. The salt water lakes absorb water from the atmosphere and create a special microclimate which is widely regarded to be beneficial for sufferers of rheumatism, asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory problems. There are mud baths and various health treatments available locally - and you don't have to be unwell to benefit from them!
The port area of Torrevieja is home to a splendid modern marina, where you'll find two diving centres, a sailing school and two boat charter companies. A full range of water sports are on offer including windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, water skiing, fishing and scuba diving. The marinas are also the perfect place to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite at one of the many restaurants which pepper the seafront

You made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for you both, and thank you for the champaign arrival. You are a very fortunate couple to be living in such a beautiful part of Spain and you have such lovely neighbors. " VILLA LA YUKA 26/5/08 TO 03/06/08 TOP CLASS VILLA WITH GARRY WHO DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE OUR STAY GREAT , CLEAN VERY TIDY INSIDE AND A FAB POOL THAT WE HAD MANY HOURS OF FUN IN. YOU NEED A CAR TO GO TO THE BEACH AND SOME OF THE OTHER ATTRACTIONS BUT ITS ONLY 10 MINS AWAY FROM MOST THINGS. EATING OUT WE FOUND THE CHINESE BUFFET TASTY AND THE BEST FOOD WAS FROM HOGGIES BAR ALL WITH IN A FEW MINUTE WALK . WILL BOOK AGAIN SOON WHEN I SAVE SOME MORE PENNIES. THANKS GARRY "

"Hi Gary and Sue We cant thank you enough for our fabulous stay at La Yuka! It far exceeded our expectations! We had the best time. It is difficult when holidaying with little ones, but everything was to hand, the villa was well stocked with everything you could imagine!! Gary was always at the end of the phone, and nothing was too much trouble, we happened to mention that we were thinking of hiring a pushchair, as we had left ours at home like fools, but no sooner had we said it, Gary and Sue turned up with a brand new Graco pushchair for the villa and our use!! The description of the property and photos do the place no justice. There is a lovely split level roof terrace, an outside loo, an outside bar and beautiful BBQ area, the pool is stunning (and well kept) the grounds are gorgeous, the villa is secure (also a worry with little ones) the kitchen is fab and stocked with every herb and spice imaginable, the lounge is really spacious (there were 8 of us staying, and not once did it feel crowded) and the bedrooms were just lovely. cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect villa, perfect holiday, perfect weather, just perfect all round!! We will return........
