The townhouse sleeps a maximum of 8 people and is on 3 levels and is south facing. It is conveniently located for bars, restaurants, supermarkets and is within walking distance of the large Saturday market. The first floor has a large air conditioned lounge which can seat 8 people, fitted kitchen, utility room and toilet. There is a large tiled terrace leading from the lounge with table/chairs and umbrella.
The second floor has 2 bedrooms (one with air conditioning, a double bed and balcony leading from it and one with bunk beds and a single bed). Both have ample fitted wardrobe space. There is a bathroom with double vanity unit and fitted shower.
The third floor has a double bed and single fold up bed. There is an en-suite toilet with shower cubicle. There is a further balcony leading from this floor
The property has a shared communal pool approximately 30 yards away.

About this location
The Valenciana region
Torrevieja, south of the Valencian Community on the Costa Blanca, is surrounded by two large natural saltwater
lagoons, which form the well-known Salterns of Torrevieja. It is an ideal location for a summer or winter sun holiday with an average of 320 days sunshine each year. It is said to be good for sufferers of arthritis, asthma and rheumatism. The area is regarded by the World Health Organisation as having the healthiest climate in Europe.
Just 30 minutes drive south of Alicante airport, it is situated on the coastline of the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean where the beaches carry the European Blue Flag ensuring pollution-free bathing.
Torrevieja isn’t a resort in the package holiday sense. There are only a few hotels and the area is much loved by the Spanish who flock here during the summer months for their holidays.
English is spoken as a second language so you will not find it a problem to communicate within the area.
There are many local attractions; golf courses within 15 minutes of the town centre, long sandy beaches and small coves, evening fun fair, go-karting, aqua park, boat trips from the marina. There is a harbour walkway which takes you out to sea and provides a great view of the Torrevieja coastline. The famous Terra Mitica theme park situated just outside of Benidorm is approximately 1 hours drive from the townhouse.
For those requiring a more relaxing stay, there are many bars, restaurants and seating areas where you can just sit and watch the sea gently roll in or people watch, and just let the days slip by.
The craft market can be found along the promenade, which comes alive from early evening and sells local arts, crafts, jewellery, leather goods, African carved art. Local artists sell fabulous scenic pictures, paint or draw your portrait or even do a caricature. Just behind the promenade you will find a permanent fun fair, great for the young and young at heart!!
Eating out is very reasonable. There is an abundance of Spanish, English, German, American and Chinese restaurants and bars. Every Friday Torrevieja holds one of the largest open-air markets in Spain and sells all kinds of food, textiles, clothes and accessories. The local market can be found at La Florida on a Saturday, and is very close to our townhouse. Street markets can be found every day of the week in different areas. New shopping mall (La Zenia Boulevard)is within 5 minutes drive. It is the largest shopping centre in the Alicante Province. The centre accommodates popular national, international and local brands such as the hypermarket Alcampo, which will also include a petrol station, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Norauto, Conforama, Casino del Mediterráneo, Tenpin Bowling, Primark, Inditex with Zara and their other trademarks, H&M, C&A, Deichmann, Guess, Geox, Swarovski, Punto Roma, Muerde la Pasta , Kiko, Druni, Marvimundo, Baby Center, and many others.
The town has a good shopping area with lots of independently owned shops selling a variety of goods. There is also a shopping mall (Habaneras) and large hypermarket (Carrefour). An indoor market is open daily where you can buy fresh produce; fish, meat, fruit and vegetables.
The beaches along the coastline are Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, and Campoamor. All of these beaches have been awarded a blue flag signifying safety and high quality.

Thank you for your positive response regarding the cleanliness of the house and the fact that it was so well equipped.
The website does state that a car is advisable although does state that there are a number of bars, restaurants within walking distance. The additional information booklet that I emailed to you also gave directions to these.
The website shows photographs of the pool surroundings with an area for sunbathing and shelter.
The house description does state that air conditioning is extra and is paid locally with an addional description that if used conservatively, the cost for a week would be in the region of 10 euros.
There are many things to entertain 14 year olds including Xbox, DVDs, board games, go karts, ten pin bowling, funfair, amusement arcade, pool and beach.

Just returned from this lovely townhouse and was very impressed with the accomodation. Very clean and had everything we needed plus more, plenty of games and dvds to keep children amused. Kevin who picked us up from airport was extremely friendly and helpful, informing us of different places to visit and showing us everything we needed to know with regards to the townhouse.
The communal pool was lovely,just seconds from the house and our 5 year old would of stayed in there all week if she could! Close to a number of lovely beaches and places to eat and the locals were very friendly and helpful.
Angela was very helpful whilst booking and during holiday and we would like to say a big thankyou for an enjoyable, stressfree holiday.

Just returned from the Town House. There were 7 of us ages ranging from 3 years to 88 years. We were met at the airport by Kevin, arranged by Angela, who drove us to our holiday home. He gave us plenty information about the area and also had arranged a wheelchair and a buggy. Once arriving at the Town House Kevin explained how everything worked and told us to phone anytime if there were any problems.
We all found the property very comfortable and clean. Plenty of games, dvd's etc to keep the children entertained. Outside space was excellent, great area to enjoy sunshine during the day or for eating and drinking in the evening.
We found the swimming pool., La Piscini, just round the corner, excellent for relaxing and having lunch - 6 euros per day for swim and lounger. Also a bit further away, but not too far, The Emerald Isle, Bar, Leisure Pool, Trampolines and Bouncy Castle for children it too cost 6 euros per adult, but well worth it. In the evening Mosquitos, The Abbey and Wallanders were all excellent for eating out. THe Abbey has entertainment every evening, including a children's disco from 7.30p.m. and thereafter facepainting, bouncy castle, etc.
Recommend trying at day out to Lo Pagan, courtesy of Kevin, great beach, bike hire, mudbaths and plenty other things to entertain all ages.

"Annual Get Together"
The house is terrific, everything you would need at home is in the house. The location is ideal and well suited from either San Javier Airport or Alicante. There are shops, bars and eating places all within walking distance, some very short distances and on select days there are terrific markets.
The large terrace area on the ground floor is fantastic for sitting in the sun through out the day, if not wishing to go to the beach, with the convience of being at the house and also at night, to sit and eat dinner and enjoy some drinks if not venturing out.
The fact that I have visited the house on numerous occassions over the last 5 years, and will do in the future, says it all.

"1st Foreign holiday but WOW!!!"
Travelled with my partner and son(16 months) and sister and partner with their son(8 months)We landed in airport and found our driver waiting(which the owner gave us number for!!!) He went out of his way to show us local shops and bars also!!!(thank you Kevin, very much appreciated) Landed at house and got a very good run through of amenities. Fell in love with house as soon as we all seen it. Lovely quiet area with 2 bars, 2 chineses, n supermarket only minute @ the corner. We did do a lot of walking to find places, but it was brilliant.... EXCELLENT communication with both the owner (Angela)through booking and the management company while we we there...and our breakage deposit back to us @ the week after we came back. Would definitely recommend for Families...
