Home description
With a balcony overlooking the pool, the apartment is ideally situated for families.There is also a canopy fitted for some much needed shade. Upstairs is a solarium, which can be used for all occasions, it has lighting and even a fridgde for your cool drinks and a barbeque if required. The apartment is situated in a small complex, that has very friendly people who are quite willing to help you if you are stuck for a bus time for example.
We are situated on the edge of town so that there is very little noise at any time. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby that carry everything you require and even just down the road an 'English mini mart' that has all those things from home. There is a small 'mall' within walking distance with a good English pub, plus a small row of shops, even an Indian restaurant. La Mata beach, one of the best on the Costa Blanca is within walking distance but Torrevieja Aqua Park can easily be walked as well. This apartment would probably suit a family but there is something for everyone nearby.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Climate here is pretty good all year round although June Juy August it can get very hot. They do say it is the most healthy place in the world to live. Festivals in this area are common but to date I still can't get to grips when they are!
Eating out is plentiful, choose from English, Indian, Chinese, Italian, all within walking distance. Good pubs in the area include the Bull and Bush (Paul will look after you) and the Lounge bar ( open till late,) with English acts flown in to entertain.if you like Chinese food the Wok Buffet just opposite the Habaneras shopping centre is the place for you. Simply pick out your food from raw, and watch the chef flame cook in front of your eyes to your liking, delicious! If you like shopping the Habaneras is the place for you, with all the shops that you need, including a C & A!. Set over two floors and very modern in design.For a real treat go to The Real India @ Villamartin, the best Indian I have ever Had!, in lovelly surroumdings.
Torrevieja area / Altos de la Bahia area
As stated ealier there is an Aqua Park down the road, but there is for the more serious swimmer an olympic size complex 200 yards nearer, which in turn is opposite Torrevieja Fc, who get six or seven thousand for a home game, mainly expats, known as the Torry Army - why not take in a game! Weather is pretty good all year round, but June July August are the hottest. Torrevieja itself is an older city, but the ex-mayor of Barcelona is now in charge, and is making a lot of changes, with tiled walkways and lighting on the frontage to name but two.
Markets are big here and Sundays you can take your pick -buy almost anything you need! There is also a good market in La Mata on a Wednesday
How to get there
Easyjet,Flybe, Ryanair, all fly to either Alicante or Murcia Airport. Which are both about 25minutes from the apartment. There are always a regiment of taxis Available, at the airport, or if you prefer car hire is very reasonable, either at the airport, or on line from your own pc. Economy car hire start from £67.00 low season. We can arrange transport from the airport at a cost if this easier. Directions from the airport can be sent to you upon booking. These are very simple to follow.

Further details indoors: The lounge/diner has sky tv and dvd, plus airconditioning in all rooms. The kitchen has everything you require, even a filter so that you may drink the water - no need to lug heavy water bottles around so fill up before you go off for the day Nb we have now upgraded the sofas you see in the picture, to top of the range bed setees.
Further details outdoors: Underneath there is a sun lounger for the pool.From the balcony if you look directly left there is 'the shack' which serves ice cold draught beer all day and evening, enjoyed by the locals as well as holiday makers.
The pool has a fresh shower facility and also a personal key so that only the residents may use it.
On the solarium upon the roof you will find a washing line for towel, swimming costumes etc.
There is a locked gate for your own security at the entrance.
Just to the left of the apartment is a chemist for any of your health requirements.

Smokers are welcome, but stircktly no smoking within the apartment, smoking is allowed on the balcony and on the solarium. Sorry no pets. 25% deposit upon making the booking, non refunable All breakages to be paid for.

My family and I had two weeks here, and enjoyed it, there was enough room for all of us, and of an evening we could go up on to the sun terrace to relax and have a glass wine, while the children were watching their favourite shows from home.
