On Saturday mornings theres a huge & popular street market ideal for bargain hunters about 15 minutes walk away.
Situated on the ground floor with its own private under cover parking space, fully equipped kitchen, hot & cold air-conditioning in all rooms,this new apartment is a real home from home. The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Playa Flamenca is situated on the south Costa Blanca coast known for its blue flag sandy beaches. With its temperature averaging 20C and very little rainfall, the hottest temperatures are in July & August when it can reach 40+, with 320 days of sunshire per year. South Costa Blanca is renowned by the World Health Organisation as having one of the healthiest climates in the world and is benefical for people suffering with arthritis, rheumatisum and asthma due to the huge salt lakes nearby rich in minerals that dry the air reducing humidty.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
Torrevieja is about 10 minutes drive away or can be reached by local transport, boasting a wonderful Marina with waterfront market. In the summer a large funfair is held near the marina. The waterfront offers a large variety of bars, restaurants and tapas bars, ideal for that after dinner evening stroll along the palm lined promenade. Boat trips are available from the marina that go around the coast. Sightseeing trips can be booked locally, so a car is not essential as there is plenty to do in the area.
For shopping theres plenty of choice in Torrevieja town centre plus the ultra modern Habenara shopping centre nearby with brands such as Mango, H&M , Pull & Bear, Zara and many more. Next to Habenara there is a large Carrefore, a bowling alley and plenty of fast food restaurants including KFC, Burger King and McDonarlds. Also the adjoining aquapark is a fun day out for all the family.
Playa Flamenca is situated in Orihuela Costa comprising 16km of fine sandy beaches, rocky coves and crystal clear waters stretching from Punta Prima through Playa Flamenca & beyond. Playa Flamenca and La Zenia are blug flag beaches with lots of golden sand , they have beach bars and La Zenia the largest of the two has jet ski's, pedalos's thoughout the summer, it also boast a rock cliff cafe restaurant with stunning sea views.A go-cart track is also nearby.
Playa Flamenca commercial centre has a large variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Two supermarkets other shops and banks are also located nearby. The whole area is a golfers paradise with many courses including Campamour and Villa Martin a short 15 minutes drive away or the world famous La Manga around 30 minutes.
Alternatively why not visit the Mar Menor just a short drive down the coast, a saltwater lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by a 22 kilometre long strip of land called La Manga.This calm, shallow lagoon with mile after mile of coves and sandy beaches is ideal for children to play safely in the water and most of the beaches also have play areas.The many towns situated along the coast have all the shops, bars, restaurants and weekly markets you could wish for and are ideal to experience a real Spanish atmosphere.
How to get there
Only 25 minutes from Murcia St. Javier airport and 40 minutes from Alicante airport.
I recommend carjet.com for car hire. ( I have always found them most competitive).
Transfers from either airport directly to and from the apartment can be arranged. Prices available on request.

A refundable breakage deposit of £150 is payable with the final payment, to be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory inspection of apartment).
