The self-catering apartment is located in a new residential complex, situated in the pleasant area of Los Altos. It is well provided with bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The nearest beach is Punta Prima beach which is approximately 20 minutes walk. We recommend the ‘Blue Flag’ beach at La Zenia which is a 5 minute drive.
There is a communal swimming pool 50 metres from the apartment, and a Childs play area 100 metres away. The apartment has a mobile heater/air conditioning unit. There are 4 single beds and a folding bed suitable for a child to sleep on.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Costa Blanca sees about 320 days a year of sunshine, with an average temperature of 24°c. The huge salt lakes help to maintain a healthy climate; this is because the salt lakes dry the air, reducing humidity and produces a healthy atmosphere. The salt lakes are also home to flamingos. The local area is renowned for vegetable growing, and the orange and lemon groves are particularly extensive. During the year there are many festivals, but the most famous one is the ‘Semana Santa’(Easter Week) which cannot be missed.
Torrevieja area / Los Altos/Punta Prima area
Torrevieja is 59 kilo metres south west from Alicante, and a 10 minute drive from Los Altos on the N332 road, which can also take you to Benidorm and beyond. The city gets its name from an ‘old tower’ and became famous in 1802 for taking over the salt administration. Apart from the salt industry, tourism and fishing keep the city alive. The harbour gives home to 300 fishing ships and 900 private sports boats. There are an extensive amount of Cafes, and Bars within the town, or an organised boat trip from the harbour can take you to the beautiful Tarbarca Island. If walking is not an option there is a bus service from Los Altos to the central bus station in Torrevieja. In Summer, children can be kept amused at the Aquapark in Torrevieja, there is also a full size ,and junior, Go-Kart track in Punta Prima just 1.5kms along the coast road towards La Zenia. Los Altos holds a diversity of activities for holiday makers and locals. There are towering mountain ranges, endless stretches of golden sand beaches, large tourist orientated resorts and small unspoilt Spanish villages. Every leisure and sports facility imaginable is available (such as golf and tennis courses), but a quiet typical Spanish retreat is always a favourite.
Just around the corner from the apartment there is 'Via Park 3' complex which consists of an Indian, and Chinese restaurant also a variety of different pubs shops and bars. Via Park is a two minute drive from the apartment.
How to get there
Direct flights to Murcia (San Javier airport) are available from East Midlands, Luton, and Stansted Airport with Ryan Air. (www.ryanair.co.uk) Direct flights to Murcia from Birmingham International Airport with Monarch Airline.
Flights to Alicante from most UK airports using Easyjet.

We are operating a self-clean system in the apartment to reduce costs. We also ask that you provide your own linen and pillow cases for the same reason. Hand towels are provided, guests should bring their own beach towels

We have enjoyed our holidays for the last two years at your apartment. It is comfortable and a good base for exploring that part of the coast. Great to relax by the pool after a long day ,or instead of going out . Some nice well priced restaurants close by . Very friendly neighbours and we will be back this year. W Mckenzie.
