Home description

The apartment is midway between the golden sandy beach of La Mata and the beautiful town of Torrevieja. The apartment offers the ideal holiday rental for couples and families to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable break on the Costa Blanca. The apartment boasts a bright and airy interior with all the mod-cons you will need including air-con (metered), satellite TV, DVD and fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is in a secure gated complex with 2 good sized pools, and child pool to the rear. From the roof terrace there are views over the salt lake and reserve park. The beach is 10 minutes walk and the town of Torrevieja can be accessed very easily by a nearby bus service. There are two commercial centres within 10 minutes walk where you will find a number of bars, shops and restaurants which will cater for all your needs.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Torrevieja is a beautiful town on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It was once a small fishing village which has now developed into a thriving seaside town boasting some of the most spectacular beaches in the area. Our apartment is located slightly to the north of Torrevieja in the area of Aguas Neuvas/La Mata. The area has seven blue flag beaches, a marina, a casino, a sports centre and tennis courts, museums, parks and churches, numerous shops, restaurants and bars and is a thriving tourist resort. There are excellent shopping facilities, including a Carrefour hypermarket. (5 min drive) Some areas of Torrevieja have been designated as protected nature reserves and park lands, which you can enjoy walking through. The two large salt lakes are home to flamingos, seabirds and wildlife. This area has been voted by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places in the world to live. The air is clean and pure, ideal for those with asthma or chest complaints.

The beautiful town of Alicante is 30 mins drive and the historic mountain village of Guadelest is only an hours drive.

The apartment is in a quiet block with mostly Spanish neighbours.The location makes it ideal for those wishing to simply laze around the pool or beach but it is near enough to all amenities should you prefer to try the nightlife.

The apartment boasts a clear view to the sea with no blocks overlooking it. A new herbal park to the front was opened in July 2009 which futher enhances the beauty of this location.


Conditions

A £60 non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of booking and the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. Change-over day is usually Saturday but we can be flexible. Prices for short or longer stays are available on application.
The price quoted is fully inclusive. Towels are provided but guests are asked to bring beach towels. A security deposit of 50 euros is required which will be returned to you on inspection of the property prior to leaving. There is a charge of 35 euros for cleaning which is payable locally.
Airport transfers can be arranged from Alicante or Murcia at a cost of 40 euros payable locally. This includes a shopping trip and short tour of the locality.
