About the home

The villa is located in a quiet, classy street in the urbanisation of El Chaparral about 5 klms from the lively town of Torrevieja. It has a high perimeter wall and a large 600 mtr plot with gardens, three patios, private pool, and secluded sun terrace. There are two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom with on suite. plus separate shower / toilet room. A large lounge with two seven foot leather sofas, sky television with all the English channels a separate kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge freezer, microwave etc. There are two sets of tables and chairs and a large gas bar b que for al fresco dining.It is five minutes walk from the villa to the local bars and restaurants, banks, garage (with English newspapers and fresh bread), car hire and chemist. The nearest beach is La Mata being 3 klms from the villa and there are also several lively beaches with bars and restaurants on the edge of Torrevieja also the vast beach of Guardamar which is approximately 12 klms from the villa.

Three minutes walk from the villa there is a wild and stunning natural park with sandy paths, which is ideal for walkers and cyclists in the cooler months . A local walking group welcomes holiday makers and makes the journey to the seaside resort of La Mata every Sunday morning (two hour leisurely walk) and there is a more exacting walk on Wednesdays. There is also the opportunity to walk in the hills about 30 mins drive from the villa with a guide and the company organising the same will collect and return you to El Chaparral. The go cart track is about 3 klms away and there is horse riding and a, water park locally.The villa is within 30 mins driving distance of five golf courses. There is a good local bus service 3 mins walk from the villa. There is a local market every day of the week with many bargains to be had plus several high class designer shops in Torrevieja itself. The villa is ideal for families who want a lively and varied holiday plus the chance for some chill out time. The area is well populated in winter as there are many full time residents living nearbye.

Entrance hall, to the left twin bedroom with wardrobes and bedside cabinets to the right kitchen with floor and wall units, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer,microwave, breakfast bar. Crockery, cutlery and linen provided. To large through lounge with large leather settees and sky televison, fireplace, patio doors to rear.
Second left leading to twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes. Shower room with wash hand basin and wc. Third left master double bedroom with view of pool, fitted wardrobes and on suite shower room. Floor is fully tiled throughout and all rooms have ceiling fans and hot and cold airconditioning. All the bedding and towels provided are white and of a superior quality.

Large walled garden mostly paved with orange lemon and palm trees and roses. Outdoor shower, covered area so that you can relax , and eat in the shade if you wish. Three patio areas and secluded roof terrace. In the evening the patios are well lit and there are patio doors leading from the villa onto the rear patio next to the private pool.

The property is suitable for elderly visitors apart from two small steps on the front patio and one small step at the front door (and the steps to roof terrace) the villa and gardens are flat.
20% deposit required at time of booking and full payment due six weeks before holiday.
It is quite possible to enjoy a holiday at the villa without driving.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca gets its name from its many beautiful white beaches. The climate is warm during spring and autumn and hot during the summer months. Winter is also a wonderful time for walking, cycling and horse riding although on many days you can still sunbath at midday.

The area is a favourite with British holiday makers because it it easy to reach - a two hour flight and you can travel from most U.K. Airports direct to Alicante or Murcia. The weather is fantastic, the food is great and the cost of eating out etc is very reasonable.

The Torrevieja Area / El Chaparral, Torrevieja area

El Chaparral is approximately 4klm from Torrevieja giving you the best of both worlds. All the lively activity on your doorstep yet peace and quiet in the villa itself. Torrevieja has several beautiful beaches and a long, wide promenade with many cafes and restaurants. A new harbour is nearing completion and a new pier taking you about a mile out to see has recently been opened.
There are countless bars, an open air market every morning and evening, and many shops from bargain to designer clothing, leather goods etc. There are many fiestas usually in April and October and the locals are very welcoming and mostly speak good English.

1)Fly to either Alicante or Murcia airports the villa is 30 minutes drive from either airport.

2)Cheap flights available from most provincial airports and London to both Alicante and Mucia airports. e.g. bmi baby.com and easyjet.com and thomsonfly.com from Cardiff, Bristol, East Midlands, Manchester, Liverpool, Heathrow etc.
3)Collection and delivery to and from the airport can be arranged. Your driver will have the villa keys and will let you into the property and show you around and answer any questions you may have.

Just to say thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. We felt as though we had won the pools, the gardens and pool are fabulous and the villa itself is cool and inviting. We found the immediate neighbours very helpful and we walked miles and travelled by bus we found we didnt need a car.
