Home description

A superbly located and furnished modern two-bedroom apartment with its own large solarium with views of the sea and surrounding areas. The solarium has sun loungers and a shaded table and chairs for you to enjoy the sun and alfresco living.

There are two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and a double bed settee in the lounge, so it will comfortably sleep up to six people. English digital TV and a DVD player ensure that you don’t have to miss out on all your favourite programs while you are away from home. Air-conditioning in the lounge and fanlights throughout the apartment keep it lovely and cool in the summer; in the winter months the air-conditioning keeps it and warm and snug. There is a fully equipped kitchen and utility room.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca translates as the white coast and is aptly named due to its miles of wonderful white sandy beaches, many of which have the blue flag status making them not only beautiful but extremely SAFE! The two main airports that service this area are Alicante and Murcia, they are both within easy driving distance to the apartment.

It is very popular with Europeans and increasingly so with Americans, for various reasons; Firstly the renowned Spanish hospitality and its climate, boasting over 300 days of sunshine every year and is recommended by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to live in the world.

There are beautiful landscapes made up of stunning beaches and secluded coves making the area very attractive, in addition there are Salt and mineral lakes that have been preserved as nature parks surrounded by orange and lemon groves, all with the backdrop of the mountains and wonderful old historic towns and villages make it a wonderful place to explore or just laze away your day on one of the many beaches.

If you love golfing, the apartment is within easy reach of 3 local championship golf courses and a little further afield, the famous Mar-Menor and La Manga golfing venues.

Places well worth a visit are the historic town of Cartagena and Murcia, the city of Alicante, and the sports resort of La Manga. Benidorm is about 1 hour away and the mountain castle and village of Guadaleste should not be missed.


Torrevieja area / Orihuela Costa area

The area is renowned for its golf courses, having several well known golfing venues in the area of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamar catering to all standards where non-members can enjoy a round or two.

There are many attractions in the area including water parks, scuba diving and jet ski-ing, there is a lovely safari park in Elche. A little further afield in Benidorm are Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Mundomar, Aqualandia.

If cooking isn’t your thing there are plenty of restaurants in the area, the nearest being just a short walk away. Beaches in the area are excellent with nearly all of them consisting of beautiful golden sand. The nearest of these is about 5 minutes drive away. There is a large secure communal swimming pool for the exclusive use of residents and their guests.

The pretty port town of Torrevieja with it adjacent marina is just 10 minutes drive away. Here you will find museums, numerous shops, restaurants and bars. There are also some nightclubs, a casino, ten-pin bowling, cinema and a great water park. Also of interest in the area are the salt lakes, which are rich in minerals and are used for spa treatments. They are pink in colour and are frequented by flamingos. There is also a wildlife sanctuary at San Pedro.

Local markets are a daily feature, selling local produce and many other handmade goods e.g leather. You will often be able to sample Paella, buy spit roast chickens, and relax to the pipe music of the Peruvian Indians in full costume.

Many villages have their 'Fiestas' regularly, and with the large town of Torrevieja offering boat trips, a fairground, daily craft market, cinemas, bowling, go-carts, crazy golf and horse riding.

During the evenings there are also many things to do, from local bars offering quizes bingo, karaoke, singers and artists to Spanish Flamenco shows, Equestrian shows, nightclubs, sportsbars and of course the famous Benidorm Palace.

A new commercial centre in Torrevieja which is called “El Centro de Ocio” is located close to the city’s largest supermarket “Carrefour”. The centre has a multi screen cinema, ten pin bowling, shops bars and restaurants etc…

The pier has been completely renovated and improved and is open to the public. It provides the perfect setting for a leisurely walk with fantastic views of the sea.The beaches and the harbour are completely safe. Every evening, on the promenade, there is a colourful market called “Los Hypies”, where many nationalities (especially people from Africa) sell their products, such as cloths, paintings, souvenirs, etc… There is an amusement park alongside the promenade that is open throughout the year.

The apartment is 20 minutes from Murcia airport and 40 minutes from Alicante airport. It is very easy to get to from both, using the N332 or the AP7.
I can recommend renting a car from Carjet.com, they will get you the best deal and you can easily collect and drop the car off at the airport. If you feel you really dont want to drive then you could either hire a taxi or I can arrange for someone to collect you, this is charged locally.

For a nominal deposit of 25 euro's a secure safe is avaliable in the apartment for customer use. This is refundable at the end of stay. (note there is only one key! If this is lost the customer is responsible in paying all costs of opening the safe.

Conditions

A refundable breakages deposit of £150 is required which is fully refundable assuming there are no breakages or extra cleaning required. If you use my website you can choose to waiver the deposit by taking out an insurance for £19 ( this is non-refundable). This is paid with the final balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. The deposit will be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

A 25% deposit is required on booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before departure. If booking within 8 weeks, full payment is required.

Cancellation charge:
More than 8 weeks, Deposit.
Less than 8 weeks, deposit + 20% of the balance
Less than 6 weeks, deposit + 40% of the balance
Less than 4 weeks, deposit + 60% of the balance
Less than 2 weeks, deposit + 80% of the balance
Less than 1 week, deposit +100% of the balance
