Located in an area that the World Health Organisation rate as one of the healthiest places in the world due to the combination of 320 days of annual sunshine and the benefits of the nearby salt lakes.
Torrevieja area / Los Altos area
You are a short walk to 4 supermarkets; Mercadona, Consum, Eroski and Plus.
There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, including the complex Via Park 3 with a variety of English restaurants and bars as well as a Chinese restaurant, Indian restaurant, Spud Murphy's fish and chip restaurant, Butterflies tea room, Maddison's Sports Bar a Quicksave English supermarket and the Post Room which has internet access.
Via Park 5 is about a 5-10 minute walk from Via Park 3 with a Chinese restaurant, English supermarket, bars - including The Cavern Pub and a really nice Wine bar - All Bar Sue.
You can walk to the many restaurants at Punta Prima, which has two Chinese restaurants including Dinastia (Chinese, Japanese and Wok), Ghandi's Indian restaurant, German restaurant, Rogues carvery, Puccini's Italian restaurant and Patio Andaluz a really nice Spanish restaurant.
Punta Prima beach is about a 20 minute walk.
Golf courses are approximately 10-15 minutes drive. There are 4 courses; Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor and La Finca (at Algorfa).
There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive of the villa; La Mata, Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras.
The town of Torrevieja is a 10 minute drive away and is a bustling Spanish town with many shops, a long promenade and many restaurants, bars and cafes. On Fridays there is a huge street market and fiestas are a feature during several months of the year.
The area also has a water park at Torrevieja (Aquopolis - open May - September).
Pacha nightclub is situated near the water park.
Jet skiing (summer only) at Campoamor. Horse-riding, go-karting on the N332 near Playa Flamenca, all within a 10 minute drive.
How to get there
Flights to Murcia or Alicante airport. Murcia approx 30 mins drive. Alicante 45 mins drive.

Further details indoors: This south facing well furnished, air-conditioned 2nd floor apartment with balcony and roof solarium is situated at Residencial La Cinuelica R9, Los Altos. The property was new in November 2005 and completely furnished, to a high standard, in February 2006.
The property has a balcony with table and 6 chairs, ideal for al fresco dining.
On entering the property you have the living/dining room with a sofa and armchair, wooden coffee table, occasional table, TV unit with TV, DVD player and SKY satellite channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4&5, Sky Sports 1,2 and 3, movie channels etc), stereo unit (CD player, radio) wall unit, dining table and 4 chairs, pictures. The window looks out to the front of the property.
Through the archway from the rear of the living/dining room you have the fully fitted and tiled kitchen which has a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, juice maker, toaster, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is a door leading from the kitchen to the utility area with washing machine and water heater.
There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom, which is to the rear of the property has a double bed, 2 bedside cabinet with drawers, 2 lamps, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe with hangers.
The second bedroom has two single beds, bedside cabinet with drawers, lamp, fitted wardrobe with hangers, chest of drawers, mirror, and the window faces to the front of the property.
The fully tiled bathroom has a bath, over the bath shower, shower curtain, bidet, toilet, sink and mirror with lights.
The property also has a large rooftop solarium ideal for sunbathing. Sunloungers are provided.
The apartment has optional air conditioning throughout, heaters for the winter, 2 freestanding fans, hairdryer, safe, iron, ironing board and clothes airer.
There is a communal pool, which is located to the front of the property, the 8th photo below shows the view to the pool from the balcony.
Bed linen, 1 bath and 1 hand towel are provided per person.
No smoking in the property. No pets.
The property is not suitable for wheelchairs or the infirm. There is a spiral staircase leading up to the property (no lift).

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. Air-conditioning (hot and cold) is available throughout the property and is an optional extra, £25 per week.
A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure booking.
The balance is required 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Changeovers anyday of the week, subject to availability.
A refundable damage deposit of £100/€150, in cash is required at the start of the rental, and returned at the end of your stay subject to no damage or excess cleaning.
You will be met at the property with the keys, shown around, local area will be explained to you, any questions you may have will be answered. Keys will be collected at the end of your stay.
A welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, jam, bread, butter, eggs and bottle of wine can be put in the property for your arrival. If you would like other items, they can also be provided, just let us know on the booking form!
Travel cot, high chair, push chair and beach towels can be provided at an additional cost.
Car hire/airport transfer can be arranged if required.
Credit or debit card payments accepted for this property. 5% to be added if paying by credit/debit card.
If arriving at the property between the hours of 11.30pm and 07.30am an additional late arrival charge of €30 will be payable on arrival at the property.
There are no additional costs for cleaning the property at the end of you holiday, unlike many rental properties.
