Home description

The apartment is ideally located in the resort of Playa Flamenca - walking distance to bars, restaurants, banks, shops and supermarkets (Flamenca Beach), as well as walking distance to the beach.

Overlooking a beautifully maintained swimming pool and lovely well kept gardens. The apartment is located up on the 1st floor and access can be gained by either stairs or a lift.

An ideal place for couples and families. The larger town of Torrevieja is just a 15 minute drive by car or taxi and Villamartin with its golf course is just a 10 minute drive.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca is becoming an increasingly popular place for visitors attracting millions of tourists each year.

On average the weather is excellent all year round, boasting 315 sunshine days each year!

Costa Blanca means "white coast", - a name taken from its endless amount of sandy white beaches. The beaches stretch from the northern town of Denia, right down to Torrevieja in the south. The northern part of the Costa Blanca is very green with an abundance of orange and olive groves. In the south of the region, where it is much drier and flatter Costa Blanca is famous for its huge salt lakes (with flamingos!) and palm tree gardens.

The Costa Blanca is an ideal holiday venue for golfers, sun worshippers, families, couples and groups.

Alicante is the capital of the Costa Blanca. This is a thriving, bustling place with over 3000 years of history behind it! Alicante has 7km of sandy beaches, beautiful seafront promenade, superb shops and restaurants and a huge variety of sports and entertainment. Alicante attracts Spanish holiday makers as well as those from abroad.

The promenade is famous for its four rows of palm trees, Parisian style coffee shops and cafes. The marble inlays of the promenade are made from red, cream and black tiles representing the colours of Alicante.

Shops within the city centre cater for a variety of tastes, top quality department stores to more independent boutiques, and stores selling local handicrafts.

There are also museums, monuments, year round cultural activities and fiestas.


Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area

Torrevieja is only a 10 minute drive from the apartment. Torrevieja has beautiful sandy beaches, Europe's biggest salt lakes (second biggest in the world), historic sites and a huge variety of restaurants.

Torrevieja used to be the home port to the largest fleet of boats in the Med and still hosts one of Spain's finest yacht clubs, holding up to 1500 boats! It is a great base for all sports, there are golf clubs, a flying club, water sports and the stadium which holds a running (athletics) track, sauna, tennis courts to name but a few.

There are a good variety of shops within Torrevieja. Fiestas are held in the town most months of the year and tourists can mingle with the locals during these street parties.

There is an abundance of mouth-watering restaurants of all different types of cuisine. Along with the traditional fish restaurants you'll find Italian, French, German, Chinese, Thai and Mexican to name but a few!

Villamartin, a 10 minute drive away is an upmarket golfing resort close to 3 main golf courses and a boars excellent local amenities within the "plaza" which contains over 20 restaurants that serve both indoors and outdoors in the summer months. There are also a number of bars within the plaza, a traditional English pub, a swanky wine bar and several karaoke bars.

Cabo Roig has two beautiful sandy beaches which are linked by a lovely scenic walk which is ideal for a romantic stroll


How to get there

Various Budget airlines fly into both Murcia and Alicante Airport. Namely www.easyjet.com, www.ryanair.com,
www.jet2.com.

The apartment is 30KM from Murcia Airport and 45KM from Alicante Airport. Hire cars can be arranged from either airport should you require a car, alternatively we can recommend an airport transfer service provided by our keyholder, a resident of the complex.

The apartment benefits from its own allocated parking space, within a secure gated complex. The apartment is fully furnished and has air conditioning (hot / cold) and under-floor heating in the two bathrooms. There is a large sitting area with television and coffee tables and the dining area has a dining table and four chairs.

There are two bedrooms, both with their own, en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes and drawer space for storage. Bathroom adjoining the master bedroom has bath (with attached shower), toilet, bidet and sink. The junior bedroom has two single beds, wardrobe and drawer space for storage. Bathroom adjoining the junior bedroom has shower cubicle, toilet and sink.

The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and coffee maker. Plates, cutlery, cooking utensils and saucepans are provided.

Further details outdoors:
The apartment overlooks one of the stunning complex pools. Sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine really is a pleasure as it is such a lovely view!

The complex gardens are colourful and well maintained. Pretty grass areas with palm trees surround the pool.

The complex itself is securely gated and a key is provided for entrance.
