Home description
Set in a quiet, small residential area overlooking an impressive communal swimming pool. This 1st floor apartment has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds and a pull out bed which will sleep an extra person. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. A travel cot is also provided. The lounge has a bed settee, satellite TV, DVD, stereo and doors leading to the terrace with views to the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. There are fans in all rooms and marble heaters in the lounge. There is a large roof terrace with views to the sea and pool and contains sunloungers, table & chairs, and a B.B.Q. There is also a pull out blind for those really hot days. All bedding and towels are supplied including beach towels. The gated communal pool is next to the apartment and provides 3 pools which are shared by the small surrounding community so are rarely busy. Beaches, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, banks and bars are all within walking distance. Several golf courses are within a 10 min drive.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca coast, protected by the Crevillente mountains to the west and with the warm Meditarranean sea on its eastern shores gives the Costa Blanca a perfect winter climate and produces excellent conditions for its agriculture which includes not only world famous Valencian oranges and lemons, but also salad items, artichokes, asparagus and many fruits such as peaches, nectarines, kiwi and many many more.
The south Costa Blanca is also famous throughout Spain for seafood and fish, landed daily at the local ports of Torrevieja, Santa Pola and many others along the coast.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
The thriving coastal town of Torrevieja is situated about 30 miles south of Alicante. The main attraction of the area are the salt lakes. The concentration of salt in these picturesque lagoons helps to draw the moisture out of the air. This, combined with the very low annual rainfall, creates the unique microclimate. The long sunny days, with an average temp of 20 deg. centigrade, make this area ideal for sufferers of Rheumatism, Arthritis and Asthma as well as sun whorshippers!
The beaches are blue flag and contain beach bars in season serving a selection of food, beer and sangria! Flamenca beach is a 20 min walk but you can catch the local beach bus which runs every half hour. For the more energetic there is a local water park, a horse riding centre, go-karts, bike hire and numerous golf courses, the most popular being Villa Martin. There are coastal walks and walks around the local salt lakes. La Manga contains mud baths which is a fun day out and very good for the skin!!
The Saturday market is a must which is only a 5 min walk away. A good place to haggle and buy that leather jacket or shoes.
The local town of Torrevieja is a first class tourist area, in fact one of the fastest growing on the whole of the Costa Blanca. It has a daily street market which is open until the early hours. There are many shops selling a wide range of goods. Torrevieja was the headquarters of one of the most important sailing fleets of the Mediterranean and this history has helped to develop the annual Habanera contest, an international event. Voices from all over Europe meet in Torrevieja to join in the rhythmic, tropical habaneras which originated in the voices of the seamen of Torrevieja on their long journeys trading salt with Cuba.
You will find a good variety of nightlife, with bars, restaurants, shops and discos catering for the young at heart, or you could just sit on the roof terrace watching the stars and drinking the local vino.
How to get there
Must budget airlines fly into either Alicante or Murcia airports which are within easy reach, Murcia being the nearest, only a 15 mins drive. Airport transfers can be arranged alternatively you can hire a car via website www.drivespain.com, this is easy to use and guarantees a car on arrival.

Further details indoors: There is a further pull out bed in the second bedroom which will sleep an additional child or small adult. Books and games can be found in the lounge. Beach chairs, brollie, bags, trolley and a cool bag are located in the kitchen store.
Further details outdoors: 2 easy chairs are on the terrace as well as a table and chairs. Sunloungers, table, chairs,BBQ and beach equipement are located on the roof terrace which also has blinds that can be pulled across and down to protect from the sun. There is a light on the terrace and roof terrace. Commual Pool is accessed by key and therefore can only be used by the community.
Further details
Towels and linen are provided for all beds exept the travel cot. A cleaning charge will be payable locally on arrival and must be paid to the key holder before you can obtain your keys.
