Home description
Our home is ideal for families and couples alike. It is situated in a mature residential area of La Siesta, within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants yet less than 2 miles inland from the designer shops , International Marina and award winning beaches of Torrevieja. It has three double bedrooms , one with en suite shower room. One bedroom provides the option of king size or two single beds. Fully walled and tiled gardens front and back, both include tables and chairs, sun or shade , the choice is yours. The private pool is 11 metres by six metres and from 1 to 1.5 metres deep, ideal for all ages. Bus services to Torrevieja leave La Siesta regularly. Coach trips are available locally, ask for details on booking. Information for airport transfers will be given.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Torrevieja is on the coast of Spain, known as the Costa Blanca. It lies between Alicante in the north and Cartagena in the south. The temperature and salt concentration in the air gives Torrevieja a special health-bringing climate which has been recommended by health personnel all over the world. TheJust a few of the reasons to book a holiday here. Leisure There are numerous glorious beaches, in the Torrevieja area. La Mata, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Los Locos, El Cura and Lo Ferris. These are some of the best (blue flag) beaches in the Mediterranean and most have entertainment area for children, volleyball nets, bars and restaurants. The beaches lend themselves to a variety of water sports like wind surfing, surfing, water skiing and so on. The International Sports Marina also offers facilities for yachting and diving. The two Aqua Parks have lots of water slides suitable for all ages and are well worth a visit. On La Siesta (within 220 yards there is a small Family Aqua Park) open in main season. These "salt Lakes of Torrevieja" ( Las Salinas) are the second biggest in the world. The lagoons have been designated as national parks and are an impressive sight, attracting more than 250 bird species including flamingoes. The flats have been used for salt production since Roman times and still provide salt for export worldwide. Torrevieja used to be the home port of the largest fleet of sailing boats in the Mediterranean and still boasts one of Spain's best yacht clubs, with berths for 1,500 boats. In fact the town provides first class facilities for lovers of all sports - there are golf clubs, a flying club, a variety of water sports and the municipal stadium with an athletics track, sauna and covered courts for tennis and a variety of other sports. Fiestas are held here most months of the year when tourists mingle with the locals to party in the streets in true Spanish-style. Visit in August and you'll be able to enjoy the weeklong "Habaneras" festival - a major international music competition which attracts a live and television audience of hundreds of thousands of people. Las Habaneras are a celebration of the Latin American music and rhythms brought to Torrevieja in the 19th century through the port's salt-trading links with Cuba.

Further details indoors: One of the bedrooms can be arranged as a kingsize or two single beds. The en-suite bedroom has an electronic safe and the villa has a security alarm fitted. For your entertainment there is satelite TV with many English channels. Books, Videos, DVDs and ipod docking station included in audio system. Separate air-conditioning units are in the lounge and all of the bedrooms, ceiling fans are installed in all bedrooms. ''For winter lettings' the air-conditioning units can be switched to heating mode and duvets are available for all beds. Also for extra warmth oil heated radiators.
Further details outdoors: There are 4 Sun loungers around the pool, two large reclining chairs and lots of space to relax in . Parasols provide shade when required, On the top terrace a roller blind provides shade over the dining area. There is a large shaded area in the rear garden. There is a traditional BBQ. on the top terrace. The self contained laundrette has a toilet which can be accessed from the rear garden area without the need to enter the villa.

Taxis are available from the airports Welcome packs can be provided on arrival , local charges apply Cots can be hired on your behalf , local charges apply . English property manager. Strictly no smoking applies inside the property. Beach towels are not provided. Access to the property is from 3pm on day of arrival . On day of departure the property must be vacated by 10am. Guests are advised to purchase accident and holiday cancellation insurance as we are unable to offer refunds.
Conditions
* Deposit £100 per week and balance eight weeks prior to your arrival day. * A 'security deposit' against damage or breakages, of £100 is payable with final balance payment & provided our property manager reports that there have been no damage or breakages, we will refund this security deposit within 14 days of your return. * Linen is included for a one week stay, if linen is required for a second week , a local charge of 10 €uros per person is payable to the Property Manager. This needs to be arranged at time of booking.
