Beautiful, south-facing, air-conditioned / heated, semi-detached villa, located in the peaceful San Jose 1, region of Playa Flamenca.
Ground Floor has Lounge/Diningroom, tastefully furnished with Digital Sky TV, 36 channels,including BBC's and RTE'S, also VCR, with a large selection of children's videos, films and sport. Villa is ten minutes walk from a large shopping complex, seven restaurants, and five bars. Ten minutes drive from three superb golf courses, and 0.5 km from three blue-flag beaches. Also ten minutes drive from the beautiful, historic, maritime town of Torrevieja, with superb prominades, restaurents, and a huge range of fantastic holiday facilities.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Playa Flamenca is every golfer's Mediterranean dream, with 3 beautiful championship courses of international prestige, within a 10 minutes drive of your villa. Facilities include : Club Hire; Caddie Car & Buggie Hire; Pro Shop; Driving Range; Putting Green; and Restaurant. The fabulous Villamartin is a frequent venue for the Mediterranean Open. Campoamor, set amongst the palm and pine trees is a beauty to behold. Las Ramblas, another magnificent course, is a real test of golf. Within a 30 minutes drive, you can select from another 8 courses, each with it's own unique design, including the world famous La Manga, and La Finca courses. All are challenging, but are most enjoyable to play.
On the historic side, the Orihuela region, with it's many museums, churches, and historic buildings, is well worth a visit. The old part of the town of Orihuela was declared a historic-artistic and monumental area in 1969. There are many noble buildings, six of which are declared Cultural Heritage. History is also in abundance in the nearby towns of Murcia and Cartagena.
For the lovers of ecological and environmental tourism, you may like to visit the lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja, where you can enjoy a mudbath, recommended by doctors around the world for it's curative properties for a large number of rheumatic, dermatological, heart and respiratory complaints.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
Playa Flamenca is a quite residental area, non-commercialised, but near to all the required holiday facilities, i.e. blue-flag beaches, championship golf, tennis, water sports, aqua parks, and go-carting. Ten minutes walk from a large shopping complex, 7 restaurants and 5 bars. Torrevieja, a 10 minutes drive away, is a beautiful Spanish town, boasting a marina, waterfront market, street entertainment, shops, numerous cafes, bistros, restaurants, bars, and a beautiful church square. The superb palm-lined promenade and harbour board-walk are the ideal place to go for that evening stroll
How to get there
From Alicante airport, take the N332 road to Cartagena. Stay on this road for approximately 49Km, or 35 minutes, driving at normal speed. By-pass Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar, La Mata, Torrevieja, and Punta Prima. Pass through the next small roundabout, and you will be approaching a slip road to the right which is signposted for Playa Flamenca. A map of the area and directions to our villa will be available on booking.
From Murcia airport, take the AP-7 motorway to Alicante. Travel for 27km, or 20 minutes, driving at normal speed. After the Toll Bridge keep right for La Zenia, and follow directions available on booking.

Playa Flamenca can boast of one of the best Street markets in all of Spain, and this facility is within 5 minutes walk of your villa every Saturday morning, from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm. Definitely worth a visit. Regular bus and 24 hour taxi service available in the area. Banks, ATM, Supermarket complex, Local Police, and Tourist Office are all within easy walking distance of the villa.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
All rates quoted include air-conditioning, electricity, water, heat, bed linen, hand & bath towels, and are per week letting ( i.e. 7 days and 7 nights ). Check-in from 4.00 pm on date of arrival. Check-out by 12.00 noon on date of departure. Late departure can be arranged, subject to availability. Hopefully you will not need to use either, but for peace of mind, please ensure, that before you leave home, that you have full travel insurance, and also a fully completed E111 Form or Card, which is a certificate of entitlement to urgent medical benifits, if required, during a short-term stay in a member state of the EU.
All reservations require a Booking Deposit of € 150 + a Security Deposit of € 100, to update the availability chart. The Security Deposit will be returned immediately, on satisfactory inspection of the villa, and the return of the keys to the villa owners. The balance will be required 4 week prior to arrival date, when the keys and information pack will be forwarded by registered post, to your postal address.
Extras available, on request, and at an additional fee : Pick-up service to and from the airport. Food starter pack (Milk, bread, butter, water, etc ) for late arrivals. Twice weekly cleaning service. ( Arrange with villa owners )
