Home description
The apartment is located just around the corner from bars, restaurants,supermarket and bank. The terrace off the lounge overlooks one of the lovely communal pools so you can sit and relax while the children are only a glance away in the card entry only, secure pool area. The beach is a 25 min walk and there are three pool complexes within 10mins walk with bar restaurants and day and evening entertainment for young and old. The apartment has a lovely private roof terrace with chairs and loungers, to enjoy all day sun or just evenings sipping your favourite tipple. The main commercial centre is a 20min walk so close enough to get to ,but not too close you cant sleep!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca is known to be one of the healthiest places to live, due to the two large salt lakes. Many people use the mud baths in the lakes to help ease ailments. The climate here is fantastic with the average, yearly temperature of 17degrees. It is warm enough to sit outside at night from April to December. There are many things to do on the Costa Blanca and interesting places to visit, from Valencia and Alicante a cosmopolitan city, to Benidorm with its long sandy beaches and lively bars. There are adventure parks and safari parks all within an hours drive.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
Torrevieja is a lovely town.10 minutes drive from the apartment. There is also a local bus, which runs into Torrevieja. The seafront offers lots of restaurants, tapas bars and street cafes on the wide promenade which is popular for an evening stroll. There are many nice shops in Torrevieja as well as street markets.' Habenaras' shopping centre with 'H&M,'Zara' 'Pull & Bear' and many more designer shops, is just on the outskirts of Torrevieja. As is the Ibiza club 'Pacha' which has an amazing light and sound system. Also, the Waterpark is here. Torrevieja celebrates many fiestas , their firework displays and colourful streets, are well worth a look. La Florida/ Playa Flamenca area is a favourite with British/Irish ex pats, which is reflected in the shops, bars and restaurants which cater for every taste from Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican etc. There are many bars and restaurants in La Florida/Playa Flamenca most are in commercial centres dotted about. The main one having three floors of bars and restaurants close to the seafront. The Wicklow Abbey Tavern 5mins walk, has nightly entertainment . As does the newly opened Mosquitos Bar, which has live day/evening entertainment , in relaxed surroundings, with a lovely sun terrace. 5mins further will take you to The Emereld Isle pool complex. You can hire beds and use the pool for a small charge. There is a bouncy castle and activities day and night. Along the front is a brilliant Go Kart track ( tried and tested...great fun!!) and many lovely beaches from quiet coves to lively beaches with beach bars/restaurants and watersports to suit everyone. Dont forget to go to the Saturday morning market that runs down one long street, go down one side ,up the other, then you wont miss a thing! You can buy everything from shoes, clothes,linen, leather goods, household items to fantastic spit roast chickens (ask for sauce-they are delicious) and enormous fruit and veg! Go early, it starts at 8am till 2pm! Just follow the crowd if you walk. In car you must go early to park or you may be parked outside the apartment anyway!!
There is a local 2 hourly (Daylight hours) bus, which runs from the urbanisations to the beach. It costs 1 euro, wherever you get on, or off. It stops on the road just outside the apartment. (Handy for those hot days, when you can not be bothered to walk ...or the children are complaining about having to walk)!!
For golf lovers there are many clubs, the closest being 10min drive at Villamartin. But there are many more in the area,within 30 min drive.
How to get there
Alicante and San Javier (Murcia) airports are within easy reach of the apartment. San Javier being the closest. Budget airlines Ryanair, Jet 2, Easy Jet all do cheap flights. Once at the airport you can pre arrange to pick up a hire car from one of the many car hire firms at the airport. Economycar being one of the cheapest. If you prefer not to hire a car, airport transfers can be arranged , to pick you up and drop you at the door of the apartment. From Alicante it is 60Euro and Murcia is 40Euro per 4 persons. There is also a taxi rank at both Airports, but would cost quite a bit more than a transfer.

Further details indoors: The apartment is comfortably furnished, has air conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom and ceiling fans in the lounge and both bedrooms. The air conditioning can also be used on heat for Winter months, and is on a pay as you use meter. There is also a safe for your peace of mind. The apartment has two double bedrooms and there is a bed setee suitable for two, in the lounge. There is a TV ,a DVD and CD player. The independent kitchen is well equipped with all your home from home needs. The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and bidet.
The apartment has a smoke alarm fitted for your safety.
Further details outdoors: The terrace off the lounge and the roof terrace are fully equipped with table ,chairs and a sun umbrella for shade. The roof terrace also has sunloungers. There is also a clothes drier on the roof terrace.

Towels and linen are provided. These will be changed at the end of your stay, when the housekeeper does the clean.For this there is an extra charge of 50euros ( regardless of the duration of stay) ,paid locally. The housekeeper can also provide an interim clean and change of linen at an extra cost. There is a washing machine, iron/ironingboard in the apartment though, for your use.
Cot hire can be arranged.
Conditions
This is strictly no smoking inside the apartment, although smoking on the balcony and roof terrace is allowed. There is a breakage deposit of £100 which will be refunded once the apartment has been checked.

We thought the apartment was lovely, clean, everything you needed. Ideally located from the bars and in walking distance of the beach. The idea of having two pools was advantageous. The roof terrace as well as balcony was a nice touch and we will deffinately be back. Alongside the bars and restaurants virtually on the doorstep, we also stumbled across other little centres with bars and restaurants within walking distance. Rhonda, Rob, Tyler, Devon.
