The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca has the reputation of being one of the safest destinations in the world. If you want to enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style then Playa Flamenca is the place for you. Torrevieja is reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its 2 large natural salt lakes. The Mar Menor is only a 15 minute drive south where many people use the famous mud baths in order to alleviate their skin conditions and aches and pains. There are also some natural hot spas in this area. The most popular, Fortuna and Archena, are an hours drive away through orange and lemon groves and picturesque mountains. Playa Flamenca boasts a continuous series of sandy coves and Blue Flag beaches all within a short distance from our properties.

Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area

Situated just 28 miles south of Alicante airport and 20 miles north of Murcia airport, Torrevieja, which derives its name from the Old Tower, is still essentially a fishing community whose port houses one of Spains largest fishing fleets. Boat trips to the Island of Tabarca and short trips along the coast are available from the Marina. Torrevieja also has large salt lagoons with a wealth of bird life and is also one of the oldest and most important salt producing centres in Europe. This old town with its attractive marina and port has a warm welcoming ambience and will surely appeal to those who look for a relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style. Shops, markets, fun-fair, bars and restaurants are available in plenty and cater for all tastes and pockets. There is a daily Craft market open until late evening down by the Marina. The Aquopolis aqua park is a great day out for the whole family and is open from June - September. There is much to do for everyone in the area and if you want to go a bit further afield there is Benidorm with all its attactions approximately 75 minutes away.

How to get there

The nearest airports are Alicante and Murcia (San Javier). Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away and Murcia airport is 20-25 minutes drive. There are many airlines that fly into both airports some of which include, Flybe, Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Excelairways and BMI Baby plus many more. We can arrange car rental from either airport which can be picked up and returned to the airport. Alternativley we can arrange airport transfers. The company we use has a 9 seater people carrier and they will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your holiday accommodation. If you choose car rental we will send you written directions and maps of the local area. For longer stays why not bring your own car and drive down. There are ferries from the UK and Ireland to Northen Spain (Bilbao & Santander) or even take a leisurely drive through France down to the Costa Blanca.

The bugalow is equipped with digital satellite TV with Stations that include BBC 1, 2, 3 and 4, ITV 1,2, 3 and 4, Euro sport 1 & 2, Sky News, movies and many more. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances including a washing machine. The dining area is equipped with a table and chairs and the lounge area is equipped with a 3 seater settee, 2 seater settee and ceiling fan. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with shelves, bedside tables, lamps and ceiling fans. **The lounge has air-conditioning available as an optional extra.**

Further details outdoors:
There is a front garden/terrace overlooking the pool area and back garden/sun terraces equipped with table, chairs and loungers. The pool is open daily from 8.30am-10.30pm.
There is a large selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance. (5-10 minutes approx). The restaurants include Spanish, Chinese, Tai, Indian, Italian and International. There is also a choice of large supermarkets close by and a Saturday street market that is ideal for buying fresh fruit and vegetables, ceramics, leather goods and clothes.

Fans are provided for summer use and there is heating and winter bedding for winter use.
We can arrange cot hire and highchair hire if required for an extra charge of £10 per week, per item.
We can also arrange car rental or airport transfers for you. Please ask for quote.
We require a deposit to confirm a booking and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
**Air-Condtioning is available in lounge as an optional extra.**

Conditions

A security/breakage deposit is required which is fully refundable assuming there are no breakages, damage or extra cleaning required.
