Casa Mimosas apartment is the ideal base for a relaxing self-catering family holiday. The property is very spacious and furnished to very high standards and benefits from use of a private residential pool, private parking and a recreational complex with swimming pools, restaurant, landscaped gardens and crazy golf is adjacent to the property. It is south-facing with stunning views of the Meditteranean Sea from the balcony and the extensive roof solarium.
It is situated near Playa Flamenca, approx 10 mins drive south of Torrevieja, Costa Blanca, Spain. Choose from an extensive number of clean local beaches and international golf courses. Local shops, mini-golf centre, bars & restaurants are within walking distance. It is also ideal for a golfing holiday throughout the year.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The bustling coastal town of Torrevieja is situated about 45 kms south of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. An old fishing town with its own harbour and fishing fleet is busy all year round. You will find lots of shops, great restaurants, a large selection of bars and nightlife.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
The area can cater for many different types of holiday. Summer or winter breaks; an historic or maritime break ; a golf or beach break ; or a fun holiday with your family and children. The coast is lined with beaches of fine sand, providing a complete range of beach activities. 7 of these beaches are EU Blue Flag beaches providing clean and safe fun for all the family.
Playa Flamenca is every golfer's Mediterranean dream, with 3 beautiful championship courses of international prestige, within a 10 minutes drive of your villa. Facilities include : Club Hire; Caddie Car & Buggie Hire; Pro Shop; Driving Range; Putting Green; and Restaurant. The fabulous Villamartin is a frequent venue for the Mediterranean Open. Campoamor, set amongst the palm and pine trees is a beauty to behold. Las Ramblas, another magnificent course, is a real test of golf. Within a 30 minutes drive, you can select from another 8 courses, each with its own unique design, including the world famous La Manga, and La Finca courses. All are challenging, but are most enjoyable to play.
On the historic side, the Orihuela region, with it's many museums, churches, and historic buildings, is well worth a visit. The old part of the town of Orihuela was declared a historic-artistic and monumental area in 1969. There are many noble buildings, six of which are declared Cultural Heritage. History is also in abundance in the nearby towns of Murcia and Cartagena.
For the lovers of ecological and environmental tourism, you may like to visit the lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja, where you can enjoy a mudbath, recommended by doctors around the world for it's curative properties for a large number of rheumatic, dermatological, heart and respiratory complaints.
The Friday market in Torrevieja is one of the largest in Europe and you will find everything here from genuine Spanish handicrafts, to low priced leather goods, shoes, textiles, silver and a huge variety of fresh local produce.

Jan - Feast of the Three Wise Men Feb - It's carnival time in February Apr - The Holy Week processions May -The May Fair Jun - For the feast of San Juan which is not to be missed and includes the burning of huge papier mache effigies in the street Jul - Feast of the Virgen del Carmen and the election of Torrevieja's "Queen of Salt". Aug - Habaneras" . One of the biggest festivals of the year is the "Habaneras" international music contest which takes place in Torrevieja which swings for a week to the soulful rhythms of the melodies brought back from Latin America in the late nineteenth century when the town's salt trade with Cuba was at its peak. The festival attracts a live and television audience of hundreds of thousands of people. It's a great time to holiday but book your accommodation well in advance! Dec - Xmas

Further details indoors: The property is on 2 levels: the first level contains a spacious lounge and dining area, a large fully fitted kitchen, 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The second level is a very spacious solarium.
Ceiling fans are in the lounge and dining areas with additional fans and heaters in all bedrooms. An information pack is available in the apartment with details of local attractions, restaurants and amenities. Each bedroom has a double inbuilt wardrobe.
Sky TV is available so you need not miss out on your favourite soaps and there is a small library of novels, music CDs and DVDs to keep you and the kids entertained.
The apartment benefits from satellite TV and an alarm system.
Further details outdoors: The property is south facing and benefits from lovely sea views from the front balcony and the extensive roof solarium which spans the whole apartment. The private solarium has a rectractable canopy to supply shade if requireda and a full range of patio furniture for easy relaxation and sun bathing.
