Property Location 

Villa Blanca Azul is located in desirable Carrer Strauss, a residential suburb of exclusive villas. Situated just minutes drive from Torrevieja's long stretch of sandy beaches, a 5 minute bus ride from the town centre and between the two salt lakes of Laguna Salada de la Mata and Laguna Salada de Torrevieja, it is within easy reach of a host of places of interest, including the nearby beautiful national park – Parque del Molino del Agua, the monument of Calle Rodrigo and a number of museums and churches. The salt lakes themselves are protected and form a natural habitat for numerous rare species such as the greater Flamingo and Montagu's harrier.

Beaches

Torrevieja's stunning beaches ensure it is the holiday location of choice for holidaymakers time after time. Torrevieja has over 20 kilometres of white sandy beaches which feature first class amenities including play areas for children, showers, life guards and first aid posts. Must visit beaches include the Playa de los Naufragos, Playa de Acequion, the main Torrevieja beach the Paseo de Maritimo Juan Aparicio, the Playa del Cura, Playa de Los Locos, the Cala Torrevieja and the Playa de la Mata.

Golf

The Southern Costa Blanca is infamous for its golf courses and golfing fans will be spoiled for choice with no less than five golf courses located in close proximity to Villa Blanca Azul. These include the La Finca Golf Course in Algorfa, the Club La Marquesa Golf Course in Ciudad Quesada to the north of Torrevieja, the Villamartin Golf Course in Villamartin, the Las Ramblas Golf Course and the Real Club de Golf Campoamar which can be found to the south of the resort.

Markets

The resort of Torrevieja still retains its original character and remains largely “un-commericialised”. The large indoor market, used by locals themselves, offers fresh fish, meat and vegetables daily. There is also a local market which offers fresh fruits and vegetables as well as other locally-made goods and produce. Additionally Torrevieja hosts a market day every Friday with hundreds of stalls selling everything from clothes to jewellery to handbags to gifts to fresh foods – a must visit for those who love shopping.

Shopping Centres

The villa is also ideally positioned for shopping with two large shopping centres located within a few minutes drive including the Habaneras Centro Commercial which boasts a wide selection of shops and restaurants, a huge 24 hour Carrefour supermarket, cinema (showing films in English), casino and entertainment area.

Restaurants and Bars

With over a hundred restaurants and bars, ideally positioned within the nearby districts of El Baluarte and La Punta district, both in walking distance, you will be spoiled for choice for dining out, relaxing and evening entertainment. Torrevieja also hosts a number of nightclubs including the favourite “Oz”.
