The large south facing terrace overlooks the pool and receives sunshine all day! Equipped with a table, chairs and umbrella should you prefer some shade, this is a perfect place to have breakfast and dine, surrounded by gardens of bright bougainvillea.
There is a private roof top solarium, the expanse of the whole apartment, which offers amazing panoramic views of the sea and resort. Here you will find a corner wicker sofa and sunbeds for relaxing all day plus dining table and BBQ, fabulous for lunch or evening dinning.

The apartment is set across two floors – a large open plan living area and an outside private roof garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and a separate dining area. This opens into a large lounge where you can sit comfortably and watch satellite TV (including English channels and movies), play games or read books.
Patio doors lead onto an expansive terrace overlooking the pool and here there is a dining table and chairs. There are two good size bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds which can become a double if required. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has a both a bath and powerful shower. A staircase leads up to the second floor - your private roof solarium/ garden area.
The apartment is equipped with everything you need to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

There are two private spacious outdoor areas in the apartment - a large terrace and an expansive roof top solarium/ garden area. Both are great places to chill out, read, watch the kids in the pool, have a spot of lunch or dine in the evenings.
For those wishing to take a cool dip or an evening swim, the pool is located immediately in front of the apartment. There is a shallow kid's area one end. This is a private pool exclusive to residents and holiday makers of Flamingo Hills II. As a result, the pool is generally uncrowded and quiet. During the summer months there is a life guard and in the evening the pool is floodlit. The pool closes at 10.30pm.
Just 5 - 10 mins stroll away you will find bars, restaurants, bingo, an internet cafe, newsagents and a supermarket at Zenier Mar. Also within walking distance are La Floridix, Playa Flamenca and Via Parks1 & 2 commercial centers where there are a vast selection of restaurants, bars and entertainment. Many more areas can be found just a short taxi ride away including Villa Martin, Zenia Beach Hotel (for entrainment), Cabo Roig and Torrevieja town. The Valenciana region
The Costa Blanca attracts millions of tourists every year. In the north the Costa Blanca starts with Denia and Javea two wonderful towns at the bottom of a mountain. In the south the Costa Blanca goes down to Guardamar and Torrevieja. You can travel along the Costa Blanca as the carretera national goes all way alongside the coastline passing Benidorm, Villajoyosa (famous for its old town and its chocolate ), Altea and Calpe.
La Mata - a pretty and small town of La Mata is only a 10 to 15 minute drive away and can be reached by bus A from the main road or by road if you have your own car. It has a stunning sandy quiet beach with sunbeds and shades for hire should you require them. At La Mata are the remains of the old port at Torrevieja, called the Embarcadero Romano, or Roman Docks. Along this coast are the ancient watchtowers called El Moro and La Mata, used in the Middle Ages to warn the coastal inhabitants of attacks by Barbary pirates. La Mata is a smaller; the square is a gathering point for the locals, especially of an evening when they take their stroll. La Mata is a traditional small Spanish town with a friendly atmosphere. There are pretty bars and restaurants, catering for all tastes, budgets and cuisines, for a beachside drink or meal. There are several tasteful bars lining the beach and along the promenade to stop and enjoy the view of the aqua blue warm sea and never ending sandy beach and dunes. The beach at the La Mata town end is particularly attractive and there is a children’s play park set back from it which is popular with tourist and locals alike.
TORREVIEJA TOWN - In Torrevieja town there are several churches, The Archpriests Parish Church of the Inmaculada Concepción being the most famous in the main square in Torrevieja ‘Plaza de la Constitution’. The building of this church on the site of former temples began in 1880.It holds the statue of the town’s patron saint, La Purisima Concepcion. This image arouses popular fervour in Torrevieja, especially on the two occasions a year that it is taken out for processions.
Originally a small fishing village, Torrevieja has grown considerably over the years into a thriving town surrounded by some of the most envied beaches of the world including – Los Naufragos, Los Locos, El Acequion, Playa de la Cura and La Mata –all have held the distinguished European Blue flag award for many years.
As well as the many beautiful beaches, squares, walks, parks, gardens and other natural beauty spots (Ferriz), there are some wonderful historical monuments such as the Modernist Casino which dates from the beginning of the century and has a famous hall in the mozarabic style. Also there is the Recinto de las Eras de la Sal an open, air theatre.
One of the main attractions of Playa Flamenca and Torrevieja are the variety of festivals and carnivals which take place frequently. Torrevieja celebrates the many fiestas with fireworks and street parties. Details can be found in our apartment of forthcoming events.
TORRIVEIJA MARINA & STREET MARKETS – the seafront is scattered with street markets, restaurants, tapas bars and street cafes on the colourful tiled promenade. Very popular for evening strolls. The Marina also has a great array of bars and cafes and you may take boat trips from the harbour to the nearby island of Tabarca, a great place to visit for the day and enjoy lunch.
SHOPPING - On the outskirts of the town there is the popular ‘Habaneras shopping centre’ with the Ozone complex next door which has a cinema and bowling alley. There are also several large hypermarkets with a huge selection of goods for sale at very reasonable prices.
SALT LAKES/ MUD BATHS - Two salt lakes surround Torrevieja and create a wonderful climate all year round. The surrounding mountainous area creates a climate beneficial to suffers of rheumatism, arthritis and asthma. For many it’s a daily routine to partake in a mud bath for the healing properties. The lakes are home to a host of wild life including large flocks of flamingos.
CLIMATE - According to the WHO (World Health Organisation) the climate here is one of the healthiest in the world. In 1986 the WHO claimed that the climate in Costa Blanca is neither too hot in the summer nor was it was too cold in the winter. A subtropical Mediterranean climate can be enjoyed in Costa Blanca, with sea breezes having a cooling effect in the summer and temperatures staying mild in the winter. On average the sun shines for 3,000 hours per year. In days, that’s approx. 325 days per year. 20C is the average temperature here in the Costa Blanca.
PLAYA FLAMENCA AMENTIES - Set in a residential urbanisation, the property is not far from many busy commercial centres with lively restaurants, bars cafes and supermarkets, yet far away enough from the hustle and bustle to offer you the peace you need when you want it. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and evening entertainment catering for all tastes, pockets and ages plus a good choice of shops from budget to designer. Within walking distance to the apartment are La Zenir Mar, Playa Flamenca, La Floridix and Via Parks 1 & 2.
There is a superb gym with spectacular sea views offering the state of the art equipment, many classes and treatment areas for those who wish to be pampered! Both day and weekly passes are available to all at a minimal charge.
BEACHES – there are three nearby beaches – Punta Prima where there is a scuba diving school, Playa Flamenca (the nearest) and La Zenia, the largest and full of watersports and kids activities. All beaches are linked by a promenade, great for long walks.
FOR THE KIDS – is the nearby waterpark - Aquapolis is open during the months of June to September. There are also many playgrounds, go-karting, tennis, horse riding, to name a few.
FOR THE FAMILY – cycling, boat trips, bowling, cinema, fishing. There are many free coach trips leaving from the nearby Mercedonia supermarket, details of these can be found in our folder in the apartment or at the Tourist Office.
SATURDAY MARKET – opens from 8am – 2pm and the largest market in the area. This sells everything from fresh fruit, veg and spit roast chickens to hand woven rugs, leather gifts, ceramics and clothes.
GOLFERS - Playa Flamenca is every golfer's dream with 4 beautiful championship golf courses of international prestige within a 10 minute drive – Villa Martin, Campomar, Las Ramblas and La Fincha. Each course is very diverse with Las Ramblas offering excellent target golf practice as you make your way through narrow ravines and Campoamar offering wide fairways with tight greens. A little further a field and worth a visit is La Manga Golf Club (30 mins drive).

"not very happy"
We just returned from our holiday in Flamingo Hills. The complex and pool were nice and clean however we were very disappointed with the appartment. I had requested air conditioning in my drop down … More
I am sorry to learn of your disappointment with no aircon and appreciate your feedback. Yes, as you state this was an oversight on your part as we do not advertise our apartment as having aircon. However, there are many apartments that do so it is simply down to the guests to select the right apartment they need. Fans are provided as you know. As owners we have chosen not to have aircon installed, we do not wish to mislead anyone in thinking we do and so therefore clearly state this on our website.
Deposits are returned on safe return of keys and as soon as these keys arrive back this can be transferred quickly and easily. Cleaning costs - some owners do it this way round and others charge more and include this cost. We have tried both ways er the last twelve years and this and this seems to work best with most, however this is a good point and so we are happy to ask the question to each guest as to how they prefer to receive their quote.

"Home from home"
We stayed at this apartment with two young children and found it very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and well equipped. The pool was well maintained and there are loads for the family to do in the area including eateries within walking distance. Very happy with our choice.
