MAXIMUM ADULT OCCUPANCY IS FOUR, although the apartment sleeps five, this is to cater for families with children. The apartment is clean and furnished to a high standard with air conditioning / heating, on a secure gated community. With the use of two communal swimming pools. The apartment is one of the best situated on the complex and benifits from a fabulous pool view and sun from first thing in the morning.There is also a small side patio area situated off the 2nd bedroom. Private off road parking is attached to the property. Ideally located between Murcia and Alicante airports. Just outside the town of Torrevieja (8km) This apartment is placed in a ideal location, Great for night life or just to relax by the lovely swimming pool. The area has much to offer, there are numerous bars and resaurants within easy walking distance, also with 3 championship golf courses within 15mins drive. Local market weekly (Sat) mins walk away. For families there are numerous excellent beaches, water parks and theme parks. THIS APARTMENT IS A GREAT PRICE TO VISIT YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS. We are able to offer a basic welcome pack on your arrival consisting of typically: water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bread. eggs, marg, fresh orange, wine and biscuits this will be at a small charge of 15euros please ask if this facility is required. The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca, and especially the area around Playa Flamenca and Torrevieja are renowned for its health benefits, due to its unique micro climate and the salt lakes with it's abundance of minerals etc. also the fact that the area has over 300 days of sunshine a year the benefits are obvious. The property is ideal for people seeking winter long term lets. There are two water parks in the area one of which is in Torrevieja. Benidorm is only 1 hour away where there is another water park and also in Benidorm there are two theme parks Terra Mitica, and only opened in 2005 is another theme park, Terra Natura. If non of these takes your fancy, there are lots of interesting places to visit, Elche which is famous for it's palm tree forest and shoe industry. The city of Murcia is only about an hours drive away with an abundance of intriguing things to see and do.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
The local area has a lot to offer for all types of family, clean fresh air and clear waters, the apartment is within 20 -25 mins walk from Playa Flamenca or La Zenia beaches, some of the many magnificent sandy beaches in the area.
PLAYA FLAMENCA: Is a mini resort in its own right. A weekly market is one of the largest around selling everything from freshly spit roasted chickens to hand woven rugs. Commercial Centres such as Flamenca Beach, Via Park I and Via Park II contain a myriad of bars and restaurants. The Blue Flag Beach of Playa Flamenca with its coves of golden sand and topaz blue seas is the place dreams are made of.
LA ZENIA: Nestled between award winning Blue Flag Beaches and 3 world famous Championship Golf Courses (VillaMartin, Las Ramblas and Campomar) with the bustling centre of Torrevieja just 10 minutes away, where you will find an abundance of bars, restaurants, shops and nightclubs alongside more beaches.
GUARDAMAR: Seems to have it all - 12 km of glorious sandy beaches, pine groves, shops, a market, and an abundance of bars and restaurants. Added to all this is a meditteranean park with age old trees, fountains and lakes, the home to squirrals, swans and fish. The prime natural feature are the dunes formed from sand deposited by both the river Segura and the sea, and blown inland by the east winds.
PUNTA PRIMA: Is a charming section of the coast which stretches from about 2 miles South of Torrevieja starting at the very popular Nautilus Restaurant, (ideal for a quiet romantic meal in the evening) down to La Zenia beach. There are several small beaches and coves, the principal being Punta Prima bay. NEWLY OPENED at Punta Prima next to the Nautalus Restaurant is a fully approved suba diving school.
LA MATA: A short drive away, (approx 10-15 mins) but well worth the trip, famous for it's long, wide sandy beach and a beautiful wooden promenade/walkway stretching for miles. La Mata is an ideal location for a family beach holiday. Natural sand dunes flank the Blue Flag Beach and provide welcome shade and great picnic areas, again with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets.
TORREVIEJA: Itself a must, the town has everything you could want for shopping and relaxing. There are some nice beaches/promenades, park down by the Marina and enjoy the sunshine and atmosphere watching the world go by. There is also the water park in Torrevieja - Aqapolis, with restaurants and picnic areas. (open June - September)
There are a number of markets held in the area on different days of the week, including a very good one within walking distance from the apartment, literally a couple of minutes away. A must do market is at Los Montesinos, about 15-20 minutes drive away held on a Sunday in amongst the orange groves.
How to get there
Fly to Alicante Airport - Our apartment is just 40-50 mins drive from the airport, using either motorway or pretty coast road. DIRECTIONS: From ALICANTE airport, take N332 road to Cartagena for approximately 44Km, at Punta Prima look for slip road signposted for Playa Flamenca. Alternatively take the AP-7 motorway heading to Cartagena. Exit at La Zenia through toll booth and follow directions given on booking.
Or fly to Murcia Airport - We are even closer to here, just 15-20 mins drive from the airport, again using motorway or coast road. From MURCIA airport, take the AP-7 motorway to Alicante for about 25km, exit at the La Zenia junction through a toll, and follow directions available on booking.
Cheap flights available from Easyjet, BmiBaby, Thomsonfly, Ryanair and many more from nearly all major UK airports. Car hire available from www.car-jet.com. We have used from both airports, highly recommended. The apartment is a raised ground floor, approximately 8 steps. Welcome pack provided on arrival if required for 15 Euros. Swimming pool available all year round, from dawn to dusk. 11. Lynda Maclean - 2008-09-15 13:07:50 We’ve (2 couples) just came back from a fantastic holiday at this apartment. I must say that this by far the best apartment i’ve ever stayed at, A real home from home ! It has everything you could possibly need and more...the air conditioning was a god send and so was the washing machine... meant we didn’t need to bring as much clothing as we’d usually do, think we were the only people at Alicante airport not to get luggage charges !! The agents Lynda and Ian were great, we we’re given a review and directions of most places around the area within a couple of hours of arriving which was fantastic as we didn’t need to do the usual couple of first days finding our feet, we knew where to head for shopping and the best and cheapest places to eat and drink. The complex is lovely, mostly residential so really taken care of ! The family that live next door were very nice, never once did they pass without saying hi. The pool area at the apartment is spotless and well maintained, i don’t know what the other pool was like as we didn’t feel the need to move from the one right at our doorstep. Overall we had a great holiday, the area is great for all types of holidays...you can relax happily or party the night away at the square (about a 10 min walk), we went without our kids this time but it is definitely somewhere i’d bring them to in the future.
Ian and Fiona Booker - 2008-08-12 09:54:41 I’ve recently returned from a 2 week break, staying at the apartment with my wife and 2 children. It’s been a fantastic holiday. The apartment offers real value for money. It is clean, modern and very well equipped (2 air con units, washing machine, iron, tv, dvd,cd etc - all things which you don’t typically expect from a holiday let) This gives you those all important home comforts which you can sometimes start to miss when you’re abroad! The owners, Brian and Pat, went out of their way to assist in any way they could before my holiday - nothing was too much trouble. During the holiday, Linda and Ian (who live on site and manage the property) were equally friendly and supportive. They quickly got us familiar with the area which was fantastic, as you can quite often waste a few days of a holiday finding your feet. The 2 pools on site are clean and kept to a good standard. There is lots to do in the local area and some great places to eat and drink. I would, however, recommend hiring a car as we did for the second week of the holiday, as we, personally, started to struggle with the walking a little bit in the heat. Plenty of car hire places around and the prices I found were very good indeed. I spent some time trying to work out the best way to carry money before the holiday. There are a few banks near by which is great. I’m not sure about exchanging travellers cheques as I didn’t take them. We used the Royal Mail Travel Money card as a safe card based way of managing money. I found this excellent value for money, was well accepted (if you carry your passport with you too) and could be used for drawing cash out at the local bank. In summary, it’s been a great holiday and we’ve all come away very happy and relaxed. Please do feel free to email me if you want any more impartial details. I’ll be happy to help.

Charlotte and Marc - 2008-06-02 20:41:58 An extremely well equipped and clean apartment, we felt very at home. The new sunbeds were lovely, so comfortable. The pool was very peaceful and we were able to relax and enjoy the sun on the terrace. Your agents Ian and Lynda were very welcoming, even leaving a welcome pack in the apartment of all the essentials to tide us over until the supermarkets opened the following day - including a chilled bottle of white wine(what more could you ask for on arrival?!!!) Lovely restaurants nearby and with Lynda’s in depth sheet of how to reach them and all other places of interest - we couldn’t go far wrong!!!!! We will definitely return in the near future. The apartment really made our holiday the relaxing retreat we had in mind.

We really loved this place! The apartament was great and the area is beautiful. A lot of beaches to go to and the sea is absolutely fantastic. It’s also a good place to see a bit of real Spain; Torrevieja, Murcia, Cartagena. Also the night life was great, especially in Torrevija, it all starts after midnight. A fantastic holiday! Lovely complex. The apartment is spotless and ya are provided with everything you could need. The people are very friendly. The swimming pool is gorgeous. The night life is great.
