You will have plenty of room with our 3 double bedrooms (two with double beds & one twin). The master bedroom has its own en-suite (including free standing shower) and balcony over looking the pool. The twin room also has its own balcony. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

The large family bathroom includes a corner jacuzzi bath & shower.

The basement games room is unique; be entertained with the antique full size snooker table, Mexican bar, home cinema projector & Hi-Fi system. A separate laundry room is provided as are two sets of golf clubs for your use.

Relax in the huge, open plan lounge with quality Italian furniture; two leather sofas, a traditional Spanish wine console and of course TV, DVD & 70+ UK channel satellite receiver. The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Torrevieja is situated on the coast in the Southern Costa Blanca region. It is surrounded by two natural saltwater lagoons, which form the "Salterns of Torrevieja" considered the biggest in Europe. Located just 47kms from Alicante (the provincial capital) with its international airport, and 35kms from San Javier international airport in Murcia, it is ideally located for a 2nd home/short breaks alike. Its climate is dry and equable throughout the year with over 300 days of sunshine. This region of Spain is rated by the World Health Organisation, as being the healthiest climate on the planet.

Torrevieja was the home port of the largest fleet of sailing boats in the Mediterranean. Today the esteemed Real Club Nautico of Torrevieja and Puerto Deportivo Marina hold in excess of 1500 mooring places of high quality. Smaller marinas are dotted along the coastline (many within easy reach of the town).

Among the opportunities for recreation, the town has easy access to some of the best golf courses around. Villamartin (hosted the '94 Mediterranean Open), Las Ramblas, Quesada, Campoamor, and the newly built La Finca course are all less than 15 minutes drive away. Further a field is the renowned La Manga Golf Club. A multitude of tennis clubs, a flying club, municipal football stadium, water-park, fairground, theatre and several cinemas are also in place.

Also of interest is the town of Cartagena (30 minutes drive), a delightful Roman port city, which has recently been revitalised. The Moorish capital of Spain - city of Granada is also within reach (3 hours drive), this reputed to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world with an enormous amount of attractions, including a ski resort nearby.

THE BEACHES
All of the Valencian coast beaches are controlled by the European Community which sets quality levels for the swimming areas. The most prestigious award is the European Clean Water Blue Flag, which means that the beach has achieved an optimum level for swimming and recreational activities. The Valencian coastline has 94 blue flag beaches, several of which are here in Torrevieja, such as Los Locos beach, El Cura beach, Los Náufragos beach and the Royal Nautical Club.

SPORTS, LEISURE AND SERVICES
Torrevieja and its surrounding areas play host to three prestigious golf courses, where both national and international championships are held. A total of 54 holes, covering an area of 1,700,000 m² give shape to the Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor golf courses. The International Sports Harbour Marina offers the chance to practice different water sports, along with several hundred high quality berths. There is a large indoor sports centre, waterpark & Habaneras shopping centre close to our villa.

BARS & RESTAURANTS
As you would expect, there are 1000's of establishments you can visit within driving distance, from basic "fast food" to exquisite cuisine. Try traditional Spanish fare or plum for your favourite, whether that be English, Italian, Indian, Mexican, Greek, American, Scandinavian, French, Turkish... whatever you desire, it's all here for you to enjoy.

The Torrevieja Area / Aguas Nuevas area

Torrevieja like most important Spanish towns has a number of Fiestas. The procession on the night of Good Friday is one of the most admired on the eastern coast of Spain. In May the "Ferria de Mayo" is host to 300,000 people and the town comes to life with music, dance and costume. In June the "Holy Heart Festivities" are celebrated with children's games, popular dances, and musical performances. On the 16th July there is the festivity of the "Virgin del Carmen" who is patron saint of fishermen and seamen. Finally from the 1st - 17th December the "Fiestas Patronales" (Patron Saints Days) conclude the year's festivities with the main event, a procession on the night of the 8th.

THE HOLIDAYS
Torrevieja has different holidays throughout the year. The Holy Week with its processions attracts tens of thousands of people into the streets. During the month of May, the town enjoys one week of the purest Andalusian music and dance, when more than 300,000 people gather in the town dressed in their traditional costumes and dance the famous Sevillanas. The atmosphere is completed with horse parades and the tasting of fine wines. In July, there is the Virgen del Carmen fiesta (the patron saint of fishermen and sailors) which involves eating paella and an array of nautical activities. And finally in December, there are the traditional patron saint's days in honour of the Immaculate Conception.

From ALICANTE airport:

*** THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE VIA THE AP-7 MOTORWAY (SEE BELOW) ***

Exit the airport at the first roundabout take the road signposted N-332 (Alicante Sur & Santa Pola) stay on this road for about 1km (passing by the side of the new airport buildings) then take the exit RIGHT following signs to N-332 (El Altet / Santa Pola / Cartagena).
Continue on the N-332 for about 30 minutes until reaching La Mata & outskirts of Torrevieja. You will eventually reach a roundabout with a large Chinese restaurant (Xu Palace) on your left hand side. Go straight over this roundabout, but take the next exit slip road off to the right. Follow this road round passing a tourist office on your right. Go straight over the next TWO roundabouts, passing Mercadona & shopping centre on your right. Immediately after passing Mercadona take a LEFT turn, follow this road to the end (about 300m) and turn LEFT again. Go to the end of this road (about 200m) and turn RIGHT into Avenida Sol Naciente. Continue almost to the end of this road, you will see two large villa on your right hand side, one white & one peach coloured, our is the WHITE VILLA no. 30.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE VIA AP-7:

Exit airport & follow signs to AP-7 motorway direction CARTAGENA / TORREVIEJA. Remain on this motorway until you see exit sign for TORREVIEJA NORTE. Follow signs to Torrevieja for about 10 minutes, crossing several roundabouts. You will eventually cross a roundabout then see CARREFOUR supermarket on your right. At the next roundabout turn LEFT, passing the Habaneras shopping centre on your left. Cross over the next roundabout & go over the road bridge & continue straight on at the next roundabout (with a water park on your left). At the end of this road turn left at the roundabout, cross over the next roundabout & the following one with the needle or obelisk on. After the roundabout turn next RIGHT into the estate, follow this road to the end (about 300m) and turn LEFT again. Go to the end of this road (about 200m) and turn RIGHT into Avenida Sol Naciente. Continue almost to the end of this road, you will see two large villa on your right hand side, one white & one peach coloured, our is the WHITE VILLA no. 30.

From MURCIA airport:

Exit the airport, go straight over the 1st roundabout then follow sign for AP7 motorway ALICANTE at 2nd roundabout (2nd exit). Follow this motorway for about 15 minutes, once you have passed through a tunnel, ignore the 1st exit after the tunnel, but take the 2nd exit signposted CAMPOAMOR. At 1st roundabout take the 2nd exit LEFT and at the next roundabout turn LEFT again (3rd exit) signposted N-332 Torrevieja / Alicante. Continue on this road (take care with the SPEED CAMARA on this stretch on the steep bank) for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass exits to Torrevieja, but continue on the N-332 till you see the exit for San Jamie HOSPITAL - PASS this exit, but take the NEXT exit immediately after passing under the bridge. Follow this road round passing a tourist office on your right. Go straight over the next TWO roundabouts, passing Mercadona & shopping centre on your right. Immediately after passing Mercadona take a LEFT turn, follow this road to the end (about 300m) and turn LEFT again. Go to the end of this road (about 200m) and turn RIGHT into Avenida Sol Naciente. Continue almost to the end of this road, you will see two large villa on your right hand side, one white & one peach coloured, our is the WHITE VILLA no. 30.

IF YOU GET LOST:

Make your way to Torrevieja & ask directions to the "needle or obelisk" roundabout near the top of Av de las Cortes Valencianas where Av de la Mancha leads off to the right. Go straight over this roundabout (passing Terrapillar building on your Left) and take the NEXT RIGHT turn, follow this road to the end (about 300m) and turn LEFT again. Go to the end of this road (about 200m) and turn RIGHT into Avenida Sol Naciente. Continue almost to the end of this road, you will see two large villa on your right hand side, one white & one peach coloured, our is the WHITE VILLA no. 30.
