Home description

Torreblanca Marina is located just two minutes walk from the beach, in the beautiful village of Torrelamata. (Google La Mata beach and you will quickly learn that it is one of the finest beaches in Spain.)Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes or so from the larger resorts such as Torrevieja and Alicante.

The apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. There are English , Spanish, Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants to name but a few.

The apartment benefits from its own private pool, with new outdoor shower, immaculate gardens, palm trees, patio furniture and a shallow end perfect for the children.
Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea and pool views, furnished with a small table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco.
With one double and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. If need be, the lounge, with a sofabed can cater for 2 bringing the total to 6 people, plus there is a travel cot for an infant if required.

*From the Lounge window you can sit and relax on the settee and watch the sea!

*For total privacy the apartment has its very own solarium on the roof top. From here the views of the Costa Blanca coast and salt lakes are stunning!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

This area boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year.

It is a short drive to the famous salt lakes and golf courses.

La Mata, on the Costa Blanca in Spain, is an ideal place for a holiday in Spain. The village of La Mata is a typical Spanish village which not only has one of the best sandy beaches in Spain, it also has an excellent street market every Wednesday morning and some brilliant bars, shops and restaurants.

It's hard to talk about La Mata without talking about the excellent beach in La Mata, without doubt, one of the best beaches in Spain is in La Mata - the beach has held the European Blue Flag for several years, for cleanliness, water quality and safety. There a plenty of lifeguards, first aid huts and refreshment kiosks open all day on the beach, and there are sunbeds and parasols available for hire at competitive rates. During high season pedal boats are available for hire - they are great fun, especially the ones with the slides on the back!


Torrevieja area / Torrelamata area

THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION has confirmed what many people had believed for years, namely that the Costa Blanca is one of the healthiest areas of the world in which to live. This isn't surprising to those people who know the region, the Costa Blanca has an excellent year-round climate. The humidity is relatively low, and therefore ideal for sufferers of arthritis and other climatically influenced health problems. Torrelamata is situated next to the sea in the south of the Costa Blanca region, and is surrounded by two beautiful and large natural saltwater lagoons which form the well-known "Salterns of Torrevieja" (considered the biggest in Europe and second in the world). These great lagoons are largely responsible for the favourable climate that prevails in this region, and are definitely worth a visit.
Out and about there is a water park (open during high season), and a huge complex with a cinema, bowling, shops, restaurants, boutiques, Carrefour both approx. 10 mins by car - it is possible to spend the whole day and night there!
The bus service is excellent, there is a bus stop outside the complex and the buses run regularly - catch one into Torrevieja and you can get buses to places all over Spain from here.
Torrevieja also has a submarine museum and offers several boat trips if you want to do something different!

Water sports of every kind can be found in most resorts in the Costa Blanca. There are modern marina's making it a perfect base for yachtsmen and it's only fifty miles or so due East to the magical cruising area of the Balearic Islands.

Of course for some people the Costa Blanca beaches are a big attraction, the majority of which are kept wonderfully clean. Whilst for others it's the beautiful golf courses such as Villamartin, manicured to perfection and situated amongst orange groves and palm trees.


How to get there

Both Alicante and Murcia airports are serviced by budget low cost airlines from all over the UK. We can arrange airport/apartment transfers for you, you pay the driver cash when he drops you off - 40 euros each way for up to and including 4 people, 50 euros each way for up to and including 6 people. Alternatively, hire a car from either airport, look online, you can get some really good deals if you shop around!

*The apartment is located on the second floor, and is less than a 10 minutes walk away from our Cabo Cervera apartment - this is ideal for larger party bookings, who want to be close, but not in each other's pockets!!

*Can sleep up to 6 or 7 people (bed settee in Lounge).

*The apartment has Kitchen/Lounge with double glazed terrace, overlooking pool and gardens. A full range of utensils and white goods in the Kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave oven).

*Partial air conditioning in apartment, which doubles up as heating during the winter months.

*The 2 bedrooms are well sized, the main bedroom has large built in wardrobes with a safe, the second one has a single bed and a pull down single bed, shelving and a chest of drawers. Both bedrooms overlook the pool and gardens .

*The Lounge area has a television with FULL SKY PACKAGE , DVD player and a CD player, with a wide choice of books and toys for children, CDs to play, and films to watch.

A £100-00 damage deposit is payable at the time of booking, this is refunded to you after your return, once the keyholder has been in and checked the apartment.
All visitors are required to leave 50 euros cash out for the cleaner when they depart. This covers cleaning the apartment, providing linen and towels during your stay and for providing a call out service should you need assistance during your stay.
