About the home

This apartment is centrally located so you are easily placed for all the local amenities. There is a commercial centre with bars, restaurants and shops and the nearby beaches and go-kart park is also close and ideal for the children.

Lounge area -Seating area for 4, British TV & dvd player, music system, air conditioning in all rooms, ceiling fans.

The garden area is equipped with table and chairs, 2 sunloungers and BBQ. The communal pool is located on the rear of the property and has attached to it a small toddlers pool.

The communal pool is located to the rear of the property with grassed and planted area and has attached to it a small toddlers pool. The pool can be seen from the back of the property if you wish to keep an eye on the kids.

A 5 minute walk away there is a pub, Horacio bar & pizza restaurant, 2 chinese restaurants and a small supermarket.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Torrevieja is within a 10 minute drive and is surrounded by salt lakes which are home to a variety of wildlife including pink flamingos which are protected within the La Mata nature reserve. The town has a large marina, fun fair, promenande which is bustling from early evening with street artists and stalls, a harbour walk and abundant bars, shops and restaurants.

Going North, Alicante is worth a look as are the many beaches and bays all along the Costa Blanca and of course Benidorm is only an hour away with it's vast selection of attractions including the Terra Mitica theme park, Mundomar sea life attraction and Aqualandia water park.

There are also a number of golf courses close by, Villa Martin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and La Finca are only 15 minutes drive away and not forgetting the championship courses of La Manga.

The Torrevieja Area / Playa Flamenca area

Situated in a prime location Playa Flamenca is close to all the local amenities including the large commercial centre of Flamenca Beach with its selection of pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, commercial centre and more. Most are within a 5 to 10 minute drive or a 15 to 20 minute walk. There are also a selection of bars & restaurants along the side of the complex.

However, a hire car is recommended to obtain the full benefit of the surrounding area and all the interesting places to visit.

Around Playa Flamenca you have La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Punto Prima which are lively and has plenty of bars and restaurants, a go-karting centre and beautiful beaches where you can go on the banana ride, jet skis or other water sporting activity.

The new Zenia Boulevard is the largest shopping center in the province of Alicante.
It is designed as a shopping city and has more than 160,000 square meters of total floor area, 150 shops and 5,000 free parking spaces.
Zenia Boulevard represents a new concept in the Mall, is open and looks like a real Mediterranean city, with streets and squares where every day, customers will be surprised by performances and free events.
Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Norauto, Media Markt, Conforama, Primark and other well-known firms such as Mango, Zara , along with all the popular shops Inditex Group, which also come with its new store image. The vast majority of these stores are known for their good prices to be added to labels like Shana, C & A, Lefties, H & M , etc.. Moreover, the customer can also find exclusive shops like Guess, Swarovski, Astoria, Cortefiel with Pedro del Hierro, Via di Milano (with first class Italian firms), Nichi Seijo, etc

There is a large Saurday street market where you can pick up fresh fruit & vegetables, leather goods, clothes and much more and located nearby is the Celtic Isle bar/restaurant with public open air pool which is a great place to relax and take the kids.

Parque Natural de las Lagunas de la Mata y de Torrevieja
This nature reserve is just on the outskirts of Torrevieja on the N332. It is visible on the left-hand side of the road as you drive to Alicante just past Torrevieja. It encompasses some of the salt flats for which Torrevieja is well known and has a network of paths, which provide interesting walking.
There are some hides for viewing birds.

The visitor centre which is quite modern includes an audiovisual display of the birdlife in the reserve. It has, at different times of the year, populations of black winged stilts, dunlin, stone curlew, Montagu's harrier, osprey, terns, eared grebes, and flamingos.
