About the home

Lago Jardin is situated at the southern tip of the beautiful Costa Blanca. It is close to safe sandy beaches and shimmering salt lakes. Just 2.5km to the east lies Torrevieja, with its palm fringed boulevards, sea front promenades, rich variety of cafes, bars and restaurants; and open air markets.

Our 2 bedroom apartment is available for short, medium and long term letting. It is fully furnished and well appointed, with an extensive south facing sun terrace overlooking a large shared pool complex. The pool area also features an attractive waterside bar and restaurant, with a tennis court adjacent.

The Torrevieja Area / Lago Jardin area

Torrevieja is a seaside town located on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante in South East Spain. It lies about 45 kms south of the city of Alicante, it was orignally a salt mining and fishing village as it is located between the sea and two large salt lakes (Las Salinas) which give the area a healthy micro climate.

Closer to hand, Lago Jardin is in short walking distance of a large and very well equipped new supermarket and there are a variety of bars and restaurants nearby at the local centre.

Torrevieja has its own harbour and small fishing fleet as well as large marinas for leisure craft. There is a wonderful indoor market which offers a tremendous selection of fish, fruit, meat and vegetables throughout the year. There are beautiful fountains, plazas, historic churches and promenades to provide cultural interest. An attractive elevated causeway between the sea and the harbour has proved immensely popular with residents and visitors alike providing a fantastic stroll wih an uninterupted view of the sea. Disabled visitors have also been well catered for with specially constructed ramps and platforms

Most budget airlines fly into either Alicante or Murcia airports which are within easy reach, Murcia being the nearest (only a 25 min drive). Airport transfers can be arranged or alternatively you can hire a car via websites www.drivespain.com or www.doyouspain.com. These are easy to use and cost effective, guaranteeing a car on arrival.
