This luxurious 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment is located close to Blue Flag beaches on the beautiful Orihuela Costa. The apartment comprises open plan lounge/ dining area, fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom plus family bathroom. Both of the bedrooms have air conditioning. It has a private garden which is fully paved with sunbeds, BBQ as well as a dining table and chairs. There is also a private solarium which also has sunbeds - perfect to soak up the sun.
Within 10 minutes walk are numerous restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and children's play areas. Punta Prima beach is just a 20 minutes walk. Cabo Roig, Playa Flamenca, and Campoamor beaches, and championship golf courses at Villamartin and Las Ramblas are all within a 10 to 15 minute drive. There are a number of other high quality golf courses within 30 minute drive. Torrevieja is a just a 10 minute drive and you will find a harbour, promenade, numerous shops, bars and restaurants, Carefour supermarket, Waterpark, Cinema and Ten pin Bowling.

The Valenciana region
Costa Blanca (English: White Coast) refers to the over 200 kilometres of coastline belonging to the Province of Alicante in Spain. It has a well developed tourism industry and is a popular destination for British and German tourists. It extends from the towns of Denia in the north, beyond which lies the Costa dels Tarongers, to Pilar de la Horadada in the south, beyond which lies the Costa Calida. It includes the major tourist destinations of Benidorm and Alicante. Located in and around Benidorm is Terra Mitica (a theme park) and Terra Nautica (Natural park). Within 20 mins drive of Benidorm are some waterfalls which are very worth visiting. Be prepared - the water is cold!!!
Due to its micro climate and natural salt likes, Torrevieja has been described by The World Health Organisation as being "One of the healthiest places to live". With warm winters and hot summers and on average 330 days of sunshine per year.
The area is well served either by the Coast Road (N332) or the AP7 Motorway.
A 15 minute walk will take you to Punta Prima beach (which is the nearest one to our apartment). Along this part of the coastline, it is a mixture of sandy coves and rocky areas (ideal for rock pools). There is a wide promenade at Punta Prima which is currently being extended along the coastline. Past Punta Prima (few minutes drive) are the EU Blue Flag beaches of Playa Flamenca, La Zenia and Campomor with vast expanses of golden sands and there are jet-ski's, a banana boat and pedalo's in the summer months, as well as the usual "beach bars".
There are a number of Championship golf courses within 10 minutes drive of the apartment - green fees average between 30 to 40 euros for 18 holes. There are a vast number of other golf courses within an hours drive which are well worth a visit. Please contact me for further details or recommondations on courses to play and also ways to book tee times and obtain 'cheap' green fees.
There are local markets to visit - Thursday is at Caba Roig, Friday is at Torrevieja and the biggest one is on a Saturday morning at Playa Flamenca. There is a Habernas shopping centre located just on the outskirts of Torrevieja which hosts : H&M, C&A, Zara, Puma plus a Carefore Supermarket for all your needs.
There are a number of bars and restaurants at Punta Prima from different nationalities to provide food to suit all tastes - from the native Spanish to Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Scandinavian, Argentinean, Hungarian, Mexican cuisine, etc. Our favourites are Puchinni's (where booking is advised) and Ghandi.
A 15 minute walk in the opposite direction is Via Park 3 which again has a number of bars, restaurants, a small supermarket and the Post Box (which has an Internet cafe).
A little further afield within 15 minutes drive (no more than a 10 - 12 euro taxi ride) you will find the 'Playa Flamenca, Caba Roig 'strip' and Villa Martin square where there are numerous bars and restaurants to choose from and all different nationalities.
Within a 10 minute walk, there are 3 supermarkets where you will find everything you need for your stay.

"Great place for a family break in the sun"
We (two adults, two teenagers) stayed at 'McPats' in August, for just under two weeks. The apartment was in excellent condition, clean and very well equipped. The air conditioning units were very useful to keep the rooms cool at night. The side terrace is perfect for getting a tan, secluded enough so you're not overlooked and makes for a great place for evening snacks and games. The pool area was less than a minutes' walk and again clean and well maintained.
The apartment is well located, with a supermarket and plenty of good quality restaurants within a ten minutes' walk. The nearest beach, waterfront restaurant / cocktail bars were again close enough for a pleasant evening stroll.
Making the booking was very simple and we received all relevant details in plenty of time for our vacation.
Recommended! We'll be going back…

"Very private and great location"
Perfect for family or friends holidays, the variety of outdoor spaces including balcony, roof, and ground floor seating patio make for an great social environment. The apartment is an easy walk to local amenities and the beach, and a short taxi ride from several nearby attractions/bars/restaurants.
