Fabulous, affordable, large family apartment with air conditioning at Flamenca Beach. The apartment has 2 bedrooms both with air conditioning, 2 bathrooms and will comfortably sleeps 5. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining / living room with English Satellite TV. The living room leads onto the balcony with a beach view. There are 2 communal pools situated within the beautiful private grounds. All amenities are very close with many restaurants, shops, banks and a supermarket only 2 minutes walk away. Flamenca Beach itself is just over 5 minutes walk and is one of several blue flag beaches in the area

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

You will find Playa Flamenca a few kilometres south of the town of Torrevieja which is located in the Spanish region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. Beautiful sandy beaches, Europe's biggest salt flats bursting with bird life, historic sites and a huge variety of Spanish and international restaurants are just a very few of the reasons to book a holiday here. The town is located at the southern end of the Valencian community and is famous for the two huge saltwater lagoons which surround it. These "Salterns of Torrevieja" are the largest in Europe. The lagoons have been designated as national parks and are an impressive sight, attracting more than 250 bird species including flamingos. The flats have been used for salt production since Roman times and still provide salt for export worldwide.

Torrevieja used to be the home port of the largest fleet of sailing boats in the Mediterranean and still boasts one of Spain's best yacht clubs, with berths for1,500 boats. Torrevieja is a gastronomic paradise with a mouth-watering variety of restaurants of all kinds. Along with the local fresh fish restaurants and typical cuisine of the region you'll find a wealth of international restaurants - Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Serbian, Croatian; to name but a few!

In other direction you will find the historic Roman city of Cartegena and the exclusive resort of La Manga on the Mar Menor (little sea). Inland towns of Murcia and Orihuela are also well worth a visit.


Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area

Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre with its many restaurants & bars is only a couple of minutes walk away offering an enormous selection of food & entertainment. There is also a variety of shops, banks and a 2 supermarket all within a few of minutes walk.

Just over 5 minutes walk will take you to Flamenca Beach itself and a short 5 to 10 minutes in a car will take you to any of the beaches in the area (mentioned below) all are very clean and daily maintained. At present a new promenade is being built that will link up all the beaches on the Orihuela Coast. The apartment is ideally located for the golden sands of the 'Blue Flag' beaches at Punto Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Cala Capitan, to name a few.

Costa Blanca well known for its clear blue skies and boasts one of the most pleasant all-year-round climates, this together with its salt air from the salt lakes has made the area renowned for its healthy atmosphere.

The old Spanish town of Torrevieja (“old tower”) is about 15 minute away by car and offers further choices of day time or evening entertainment. A sea front stroll is worth a visit any time of day. With a fun fair, harbour, marina, evening market, and many bars & restaurants to suit all tastes, Torrevieja offers a great choice for everyone

If you enjoy a round or two of golf there are three well established championship golf courses within a 10 minute drive at Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas. There are several other courses in the area, including La Marquesa and the exclusive La Manga courses and at La Finca a brand new course has just open. These are approximately 20 minute away by car

Local attractions include an aqua park, horse riding, tennis, go-karting and a fun fair. Other attractions within 10 to 15 minutes drive include diving, water sports, bird reserves, fishing and even crown green bowling. There are activities to suit all tastes.

You will also find that in the surrounding area each town or village has a weekly market. The largest market is on Friday mornings in Torrevieja and a smaller market in Playa Flamenca on Saturday mornings, both well worth a visit.


How to get there

The apartment is situated approximately 45 minutes by car from Alicante airport and 20 minutes by from Murcia airport. Cheap flights to Murcia and Alicante are available from many of the UK airports.

Car hire is very straight forward and can be arranged through the airport or locally. However, we have an arrangement with our very local English Agents who provide an excellent personal pick up and drop off services from the two local airports to your apartment. Their rates are very reasonable and they will take responsibility for allocation and collection of your keys. We would recommend that if this is your first visit to the area, the pick up service is well worth it for piece of mind. Our agents can also arrange car hire at very competative rates.


Transfer costs are approx 40 euros from Murcia and from Alicante it is 45euros. After midnight the costs are grteater. These costs are for one way.

The kitchen is fully equipped – hob, oven, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine and has ample storeage space, iron/ironing board.

Living Rooms: The lounge/dining room has two large settees, coffee table, UK satellite TV, a large dining table and six chairs, free standing air conditioning unit.

Cleaning/towels/linen: There is a standard service charge payable for cleaning etc of €60 payable locally. There is also a small charge for towels and linen of €5 per person (please bring your own beach towels), this service is also payable locally.

Further details outdoors:
The apartment has a balcony overlooking the sea with a table and chairs.

There are two swimming pools in the communal garden. During the summer months there is a pool attendant / life guard for your safety


Conditions

A 25% non returnable deposit or full payment if within 8 weeks of departure is required to book the apartment. We will send you a receipt and confirm your booking requirements. The remainder is due 6 weeks prior to your holiday start date. We require a deposit of £100 per booking to cover breakages, damage etc. This will be fully refunded to you a few days after your holiday once our cleaning agency has checked the property and advised us to do so.

Please note that unfortunately, our insurance policy dictates that we cannot accept single sex parties where the lead person is under 25 years of age.
This is a non smoking apartment, but we have provided ash trays on the balcony.

We can also arrange for cot and highchair hire through are agents should you need it.
