About the home

This two bedroom villa has been very tastefully furnished with everything that you need for a home from home holiday. The accommodation is on two floors with a large private solarium on the roof overlooking the communal pool.

The villa is situated in a quiet residential location within 10 minutes walk of the Villa Martin Plaza (square) with its many bars, restaurants and shops. There are patios on two sides of the villa allowing you to make the most of the great Spanish climate.
Our vacation villa is situated 15 minutes south of the charming town of Torrevieja on the Orihuela Costa, in the Pinada Golf residential area of Villa Martin. It is a 40 minute drive from Alicante airport and only 20 minutes from the smaller airport of San Javier (Murcia). Ideal for sun & sea, there are several blue flag beaches within an 8 min. drive, yet it is set in the golf course triangle of Real Campoamor, Las Ramblas & Villa Martin. The renowned La Manga golf complex is a 40 minute drive away.
The historic Spanish sea port of Cartagena is only 30 minutes away, while the historic town of Mercia is just 20 minutes away.
This is a great place to relax and enjoy the local beaches and golf courses as well as a great base to explore the real Spain.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Shopping
There are several supermarkets. the nearest one, within easy walking distance, is in the Villa Martin plaza, all stock a large range of everyday foods & goods. There are larger Tesco style ones, named Consum & Mercadonna, at La Zenia & Blue Lagoon, which is only a 5 minute drive away and a further Mercadonna supermarket at Playa Flamenca which is 10 minutes drive away. You will find everything you need in these two supermarkets and it will be much cheaper than shopping in the local supermarket at Villa Martin.
Outdoor Markets:- There are too many to list them all, they are all very large and sell absolutely everything. Located at Playa Flamenca on Saturdays, Sunday at Guardama del Segura and Torrevieja on Wednesdays. There is a quaint trinket market everyday on the main promenade at Torrevieja, which has an abundance of independently owned shops along its narrow streets selling a wide range of local and designer goods. Alicante, Elche, Murcia & Cartegena are all close by.

Dining out
The Plaza,(square) is a 15 minute walk and it is a great place to spend an evening. There are over 25 restaurants and bars and many of them provide entertainment throughout the evening. Restaurants range from simple pub grub to elite high class dining. With something for everyone including Steak Houses, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Hungarian, Fish Restaurants or just simple Fish and Chips. Irish bars, Sports bars and even a Karaoke bar for those budding stars. A short 10 minute walk from the Plaza and you will find the new Commercial Centre of Los Dolses with a further range of bars and restaurants.
Or just a 5 minute drive away is La Zenia with a large selection of restaurants beside the coast road.

The Torrevieja Area area

Golf
The villa is in the middle of the "Golf Triangle"
Villa Martin Golf course, previous host to the Spanish Open, is a 5 min drive, water is in play on 3 holes and the greens are large with well positioned bunkers to test the best players.
Campoamor is a short 5 minute drive away with its magnificent club house over looking the course. It has large wide-open fairways and excellent greens with many long par 4s to test out your driving.
Las Ramblas (our favourite) is also only 5 minutes drive away. The course is located between 2 ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean and is a test for any golfer with its narrow fairways and greens. The most spectacular hole is a par 5 named 'La Plataforma' it requires absolute precision from tee to green and has 2 water hazards before reaching the green. The hugely popular American style course, La Finca, is a short 25 minute drive, situated at the foot of mount Escotera, in the municipality of Algorfa. Designed to host top tournaments it is a must play for all serious golfers.
Not forgetting La Manga - a 40 minute drive away but well worth the trip.



Other nearby activities include:
Cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing, Crown Green Bowling.
There is a friendly local stables just a 5 minute walk away and they are happy to take the most inexperienced riders on their afternoon treks across the nearby countryside. A great way of seeing the area.

“Great for golf and relaxing.” Had a wonderful stay at the Villa.It is very comfortable and the terrace at the front of the house is perfect for sitting out. Found location excellent as it is quiet but also only a 10 minute walk to some nice bars and restaurants.It is also a short drive to some lovely beaches. My husband is a keen golfer and we found exploring the local golf courses very enjoyable. My husband particularly liked the Las Ramblas course which is only 5 minutes from the Villa. The pool is very clean and has a nice green area around it with a separate kids pool. I have recently had a baby and will definitely be back next year with our little one! I would recommend hiring a car.

Exit clean charged at £20:00 per booking plus £5:00 per person for laundry.

A deposit of 10% is required to secure the booking. This is fully refundable up to 12 weeks in advance of departure. Full settlement of the balance must be received by the owners 6 weeks prior to departure.

On receipt of all monies paid, details of key collection and further information will be provided.

A fully refundable damage/excess cleaning deposit of £100 is also payable before arrival. This is refunded on your return home, subject to the satisfaction of the key-holder that the apartment is left in the condition it was in when you arrived & all keys etc. returned. All rental rates are per week or part thereof.

EC ruling now states that all holiday-makers must have full travel insurance. Please make sure you take out adequate travel insurance against cancellations, loss of belongings, accident...etc. when you make your booking with us.
