There are two commercial centres within a 5 minute walk away offering a selection of shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and pubs with bus routes to Torrevieja and La Mata and a choice of supermarkets just a 10 minute walk away.
Relax around the pool or the local beaches. There is also an Aqua Park nearby (only open in high season) for families who want to make a day of it.
The sandy beaches of La Mata are just a 5 minute drive away with stunning views of the Mediterranean perfect for families offering life guards, beach cafes and shops together with a local market on a Wednesday selling fruit, vegetables and where you can enjoy haggling for a bargain.

The master bedroom has an en suite, king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a built in safe. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds. All bedrooms have ceiling fans with mobile heaters. There is plenty of underbed storage and wardrobe space. The lounge/dining room has satellite TV including sports and movie channels with ceiling fans leading onto a West facing sun terrace with table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the sun going down. It has a separate well equipped kitchen and family bathroom. All bedding and towels are supplied including beach towels.

The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
The Costa Blanca, known as the White Coast , is a very popular tourist destination and is located in southeast Spain, and is the southernmost province of the Region of Valencia (Alicante). The coastline is infamous for it 's long , white, sandy beaches offering excellent spring-like and summer temperatures averaging 18°C and boasts 320 days of sunshine a year.
It has excellent communications with the rest of Spain and Europe, you can choose between Alicante or Murcia Airports, railways or the extensive networks of roads and ferry crossings for families wishing to enjoy a driving holiday.
Torrevieja area is one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Costa Blanca with easy access from Alicante and Murcia Airports both approximately 35 km away. Due to it's location it has the perfect climate considered to be one of the healthiest in the World boasting 320 days of sunshine a year with an average temperature of 18°C and swimming in the sea is comfortable well into November. There are many beautiful white sandy beaches locally, squares, walks, parks, gardens and other natural beauty spots.
Torrevieja is surrounded by two large natural salt lakes (Torrevieja and La Mata), which are considered to be the biggest in Europe and second in the world exporting salt worldwide.
One of the main attractions to Torrevieja town are the festivals and night life especially during the summer. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs to choose from along the promenade and harbour where the night life is second to none which continues well into the early hours.
Torrevieja has a main market on a Friday and is said to be one of the largest outdoor markets in Europe. There is also a daily market running the length of the promenade which opens around midday till well into the night and a fairground open nghtly for the children, so there is something for everyone!
There is also a tourist train ride from the centre of town running along the local coastal beaches which takes approximately 35 minutes and is fun for the children.
Torrevieja harbour and marina has a fantastic selection of sail, fishing and sports boats and there are excursions by boat along the coastline which takes about 30 minutes or a trip to Tabarca Island with crossings twice daily during high season and takes approximately 50 minutes - a great day out for the family with water sports facilities including pedalos, canoeing and good for snorkelling.
Zenia Boulevard is a new shopping mall in La Zenia which opened in September 2012. There is free parking with a variety of shops and restaurants to suit all ages. Opening hours are 10.00am to 11.00pm. Location is in La Zenia about 10 minutes south from Torrevieja on the N332.
Benidorm is just an hour's drive away where there is something to do for everyone.
There is an Aqua Park nearby to the apartment (only open in high season) for families who want to make a day of it. Take a picnic and enjoy the atmosphere!
Just a 5 minute walk away is a very reliable and regular bus service into Torrevieja and La Mata.

"Quite literally fantastic!!"
What I can I say after the fantastic 10 days I spent at Casa Owens with my son? The apartment is beautiful, well maintained and is spotlessly clean. It is really close to local bars and shops which was perfect for me and my son. The apartment has a lovely balcony which is a perfect little suntrap. All the rooms have air conditioning and fans which we took advantage of due to the weather being 30 degrees almost everyday! It is in a gated complex and has its own residents only swimming pool which we spent quite a bit of time by. The main bedroom has it's own en suite bathroom and there is a 2nd bathroom. The owners were the perfect hosts and were very friendly and welcoming. I cannot recommend Casa Owens highly enough. We are already booking for next year and can't wait to return.

"A pleasent and relaxing holiday"
I recently returned from a weeks holiday from this lovely villa. The villa was very clean and well maintained, it felt very homely. In my opinion the villa is excellent value for money.
The location of the villa is central and everything you needed was within easy walking distance.
I will definitely be booking another holiday at this villa.

"Great value and good location."
Just returned after a 10 day family holiday (with 3 boys aged 16, 12 & 8). Have never stayed in a cleaner apartment, and the local agents were more than helpful in confirming the best value restaurants and places to visit. The apartment looks directly over the swimming pool, although there was no noise at night.
Location was perfect and even though we had the benefit of a car this is not entirely necessary. There is a bus service that travels into town every 30 minutes (maximum 10-15 minutes on the bus) with a flat fare of 1.35 each way, and another bus will take you to the beach if you fancy a change from the swimming pool.
There are a number of bars and restaurants nearby, as well as Aldi & Lidl supermarkets within easy walking distance if you want to cook.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the apartment for an ideal holiday, and we will definately return again.
