The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca has the reputation of being one of the safest destinations in the world. If you want to enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style then Torreviejais the place for you. Torrevieja is reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its 2 large natural salt lakes. Many people use the mud baths in the lakes in order to alleviate their aches and pains. There are also some natural hot spas in this area. The most popular, Fortuna and Archena, are an hours drive away through orange and lemon groves and picturesque mountains. Playa Flamenca boasts a continuous series of sandy coves and Blue Flag beaches all within a short distance from our properties.

Torrevieja area / Los Balcones area

Situated just 25 miles south of Alicante airport and 20 miles north of Murcia airport, Torrevieja, which derives its name from the Old Tower, is still essentially a fishing community whose port houses one of Spains largest fishing fleets. It also has large salt lagoons and is one of the oldest and most important salt producing centres in Europe. This old town with its attractive marina and port has a warm welcoming ambience and will surely appeal to those who look for a relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style. Shops, markets, bars and restaurants are in plenty and cater for all tastes and pockets. The villa is situated about a minutes walk from one of Torreviejas bigest salt lakes which makes a very interesting walk.

Los Balcones is just 5-10 minutes drive from Torrevieja town centre and the new shopping centre "Habaneras" where there is a mixed range of shops including many designer shops. Just across the road from the shopping centre is the Ten Pin bowling complex with many other games as well, ideal for grown ups and kids. There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants.


GOLF
For golf fanatics the area boasts some of the finest golf courses on the Costa Blanca. The closest being Club de Golf Villamartin (Barely 10 minutes drive away), Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Las Ramblas de Orihuela, Golf & Country Club La Marquesa and Club de Golf La Finca all within a 30 minutes drive away.

How to get there

The nearest airports are Alicante and Murcia (San Javier). Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away and Murcia airport is 20-25 minutes drive. There are many airlines that fly into both airports some of which include, Flybe, Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Excelairways and BMI Baby plus many more. We can arrange car rental from either airport which can be picked up and returned to the airport. Alternativley we can arrange airport transfers. The company we use has a 9 seater people carrier and they will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your holiday accommodation. If you choose car rental we will send you written directions and maps of the local area. For longer stays why not bring your own car and drive down. There are ferries from the UK and Ireland to Northen Spain (Bilbao & Santander) or even take a leisurely drive through France down to the Costa Blanca.

This property offers 2 bedrooms, 1 double which is en-suite, 1 twin bedroom and there is also a double sofa bed in the conservatory area which can accommodate a further 2 people. There is also a second bathroom/shower room, very spacious living and dining areas and a luxury fully fitted kitchen.

The lounge is equipped with digital satellite TV (Sky) with over 30 TV stations and 15 radio stations. Stations include Sky sports 1+2+3, Sky movies 1+2, Sky news, ITV 1+2, BBC 1+2 plus many more.

PLEASE NOTE. Full air-conditioning is available as an optional extra.

There is a large private roof terrace and the villa has its own large private swimming pool (8 metres x 4 metres) and a very large pool area which is equipped with table, chairs and sunbeds. There is also a 3 seater hammock.

Cleaning before arrival and after departure is included in the rental rate.
Fans are provided for normal use but full air-conditioning is available at an extra charge of £40 per week.
We can arrange cot hire and highchair hire if required for an extra charge of £10 per week, per item.
We can also arrange car rental or airport transfers for you. Please ask for quote.
We require a deposit to confirm a booking and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

Conditions

A security/breakage deposit of £100 is required which is fully refundable assuming there are no breakages or extra cleaning required.
