The Villa being in a very peaceful location is on a corner plot therefore, has an exceptionally large patio area which is completely 'walled in' with lockable gates and is very secure for children and toddlers. To the side of the property is a huge area of common ground making the villa completely secluded. It benefits from air conditioning in the lounge and two bedrooms working together with ceiling fans in all rooms. The fully fitted lounge/diner has a double/triple sofas, Sat TV, dvd player. There a roof top solarium and a sun terrace off the main bedroom, both of which catch the sun all day and are therefore perfect for soaking in the beautiful sunshine. The fully equipped kitchen has fitted cupboards and worktops, electric hob and oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine. The fully equipped tiled bathroom has a bath with shower over, wc, bidet and wash basin. The downstairs shower room has a shower, wc and wash basin. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and chests of drawers.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Valencia's southern province is Alicante a wonderfully varied area with historic towns, fertile land and some very impressive mountain scenery. It is best known for its coastline, the Costa Blanca (white coast). The Costa Blanca is a paradise for Europeans looking for sand, sea and sun. There are four cities within an hours drive. Alicante to the North, Elche to the North west, Murcia to the West and Cartegena to the South. There are 4 championship golf courses within a ten minute drive. There are 11 more courses within an hours drive, open all year.

Torrevieja area / La Florida area

Torrevieja is the only all year round town along the coast between Alicante and Cartagena. it is not geared to the foreign traveller and has very few hotels, in fact many Spanish people holiday here which has the beneficial effect on keeping prices down. The area enjoys the best climate in Spain with in excess of 300 days of sunshine per year. In fact the Torrevieja area is rated by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to live. This is due in part to the sunshine and the close proximity of two huge salt lakes which you pass travelling from Alicante. The location of this villa is perfect for a great family holiday. Within a 3 minute walk are two swimming and children's pools these are accessed via a keycard for residents and guests only. Within a 10 minute walk is the beach at Playa Flemenca and within a 10 minute drive are the 'Blue flag' beaches of La Zinea and Cabo Roig. Torrevieja has its own water park and there is a further water park in Quesada which is a 10 minute drive.

How to get there

Fly to Alicante - the house is just 43kms south, or fly to Murcia - the house is just 20 Kms North..
Cheap flights available from easyjet.com from most UK airports to Alicante airport
Good (cheap) car hire available from carjet.co.uk.
Transfer from airport to the house available at approx 45 euros.
Local buses run regular between airport and Torrevieja.
There are always local taxis available - but be wary as they may try to overcharge tourists.

There is an extremely large patio, which is completely secluded with a stone patio set, ideal for that breakfast in the sun, or 'sundowners' after a BBQ, it is also completely 'walled in with lockable gatesand is a safe and secure area for toddlers and children to play. The garden area has an abundance of flowering shrubs and a palm.
