Many sandy beaches are very close with La Zenia beach only a five minute drive. There is also the Playa Flamenca Saturday market in the next street. Within a min radius you will find 3 excellent and challenging golf courses, namely Villamartin (4km), Campoamor (5km) and Las Ramblas (5km). Ten minutes drive from the beautiful, historic, maritime town of Torrevieja, with superb promenades, restaurants, shops and a huge range of fantastic holiday facilities.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Orihuela Costa is 16km of coast shared between six beaches at the southern end of the Costa Blanca. Every year the beaches are granted the Blue Flag by the European Union for the excellent state of services, hygiene and conservation. There are marinas at Cabo Roig and Campoamor.
The climate is very mild in winter making it suitable for all year round golfing holidays or winter breaks. There are historic towns (e.g. Murcia and Cartagena), traditional villages, beautiful coves, salt lakes and even mountains all within easy reach.
For the lovers of ecological and environmental tourism, you may like to visit the lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja, where you can enjoy a mudbath, recommended by doctors around the world for its curative properties for a large number of rheumatic, dermatological, heart and respiratory complaints.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
Playa Flamenca is a quiet residential area, non-commercialised, but near to all the required holiday facilities, i.e. blue-flag beaches, championship golf, tennis, water sports, aqua parks, safari park and go-carting.
Torrevieja has a superb palm-lined promenade and harbour board-walk which are the ideal place to go for that evening stroll.
How to get there
There are two Airports close to the villa. Alicante Airport is to the north of Playa Flamenca and is approximately 35 miles/35minutes away. Murcia Airport is to the south of Playa Flamenca and is actually in the town of San Javier - and is approximately 15 miles/20 minutes away.
From Alicante airport, take the N332 road to Cartagena. Stay on this road for approximately 49km, or 35 minutes. By-pass Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar, La Mata, Torrevieja, and Punta Prima. Playa Flamenca is two roundabouts on. Or you can go on the AP-7 Motorway and come off at La Zenia, go straight over the roundabout towards Via Park 1 / 2 and follow directions available on booking.
From Murcia airport, take the AP-7 motorway to Alicante. Travel for 27km, or 20 minutes. After the toll bridge keep right for La Zenia, go straight over the roundabout towards Via Park 1 / 2, following directions available on booking.
