Carihuela boasts beautiful sun, sea and sand. Close to the studio you can find lovely restaurants, bars, small fishermen's places, traffic free boulevards - and no disco''s to spoil the peace and tranquillity. It is a favourite with people of all ages who like a bit of peace and quiet, and it offers pleasant sea views and plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by.

There are lots of disco''s by the marina about 5kms away at Benalmadena. The average temperature in the autumn and winter months are in the low 20s, and temperature can reach the high 30s in the summer.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Carihuela is a small fisherman's village next to Torremolinos, near the historic city of Malaga, only 10 minutes from the airport Malaga. It is near the botanic gardens in Fuengirola, the Sea life centre and the marina in Benemaldena, and it is easy to enjoy day excursions to Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba or Gibraltar.

There are 10 golf courses within 40 km.

The beaches are noted for their cleanliness, and are lined by chiringuitos ( beach bars ) offering the best and freshest seafoods. There are always plenty of sunbeds which can be hired for a few euros a day.

Torremolinos / Carihuela area

Markets on Tuesday and Thursday. There are also lots of ferias and romerias throughout the year, meaning that there is always something to keep you occupied! Alternatively just relax on the beach and watch the world go by whilst enjoying some local food.

The studios have a complete kitchen with pots & pans,etc. in order to prepare your breakfast / dinner, supermarkets are closeby, offcourse you can go to restaurants, more than 15 in Carihuela for every taste.
