Home description

La Nogalera is a three key apartment complex in the middle of Torremolinos, seconds from the railway station, the shops, supermarkets and nightlife. The flat is on the sixth floor and protected by sliding glass windows from the bustle below. The block has been modernised and the flat has been fitted with a new kitchen with new appliances and new furniture to give a fresh modern approach. Both the full sized bathroom and the completely separate shower room have been completely replaced in November 2005 . The flat has its own air conditioning. The block has two large swimming pools, a separate children’s pool and attractive gardens. There is a Sky satellite system giving a good choice of English language programmes(including BBC 1,2,3,4,ITV, Ch4 and Ch5). Friends have a similar flat two doors away and we would be happy to pass on requests for larger parties.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Easily accessible are all the attractions of Andalucia- the Alhambra at Granada, Cordoba's mosque and the beautiful Cathedral and city of Seville. The region is mountainous and scenery splendid. Torremolinos is perfect for combining two completely different types of holiday.


Torremolinos area

Torremolinos is the original Costa del Sol resort so all the facilities you would expect of an established holiday town are close by.
Malaga is twenty minutes away. The castle is a mini Alhambra with a Roman Amphitheatre, The old town has Renaissance Palaces, one now the Picasso Museum, a baroque Cathedral and the Plaza de la Merced where Picasso was born. As Spain's sixth largest city and the centre of the prosperous Costa del Sol the shopping is excellent. It is a serious candidate for European City of Culture with a number of galleries and two Theatres

An important feature of the flat is the glassed in balcony which not only offers the chance of an extra dining or lounge area where you can watch the world go by but also acts as excellent sound insulation from the square below where concerts are a regular feature and South American bands perform nightly in the summer. With the main flat windows further back the lounge and bedroom are amazingly quiet .

There are two swimming pools and a mini golf . On the ground floor there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurant, some of them gay, and these continue seamlessly into Torremolinos Centre. San Miguel shopping street is at the end of the block and across the square is the (underground) train station for Benalmadena, Tivoli and Fuengirola in one direction and Plaza Mayor, the airport and Malaga in the other.
