The costa del sol includes the beautiful city of Malaga and many towns including Torremolinos, Benalmadna, Marbella, Fuengirola, Nerja and Mijas, Further inland the Alhambra castle in Granada is a historical site which is visited by many from around the world each year. With many a fiesta in towns, villages and beaches the Costa del Sol is always alive with something to do or visit.


Torremolinos and Benalmadena Costa are both within walking distance from the property location. One may visit the modern Puerto Marina in Benalmadena Costa with its yachts, bars and shops and take a boat trip to see the coastline from a different perspective. To eat, or simply take an evening stroll along the prom, the Carihuela offers local fish restaurants and beach bars to relax in and enjoy. For those looking for a more Spanish atmosphere, Arroyo de la miel is a small village within walking distance which offers bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours. Malaga city with its tapas bars, Port, Cathedral and Castle is only 30 minutes away by train and is a must for those who have time to visit the birth place of Picasso.

"Excellent apartment, great location and value for money"

This is an excellent apartment. Its in a relatively quiet area but only around ten minutes walk from local pubs and bars and 24 Hour Square. The Marina is also only a few minutes walk away as is the Torremelinos boardwalk. There are two large supermarkets under ten minutes walk away which sell everything from bread to fresh meat and seafood. Most importantly a can of lager only costs 23 cents!

The owner, James lives downstairs with his wife and were there to welcome us to the apartment and give some advice on the area and even left us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift.

There is a salt water pool within the apartment complex which was rarely busy during the day. There is also an enormous roof terrace for sunbathing. The bedrooms are also on separate levels so if you are staying with friends you can each have your own space during the day. There are also two bathrooms which makes it easier when getting ready to go out. The kitchen is also fully equipped with huge fridge/freeser, 4 burner hob, fan oven etc. Which is much better than the usual poor standard kitchens which come in most Spanish apartments I have stayed in.

This is an excellent apartment and if i was ever back in the area I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I would look for in the apartment was the provision of Wifi access, otherwise it was fantastic.

"Great Place to Stay"

We spent a week in the apartment and used a the base for our travels in southern Spain. It had easy connections to the major highways in the Malaga area. The place was great, roomy with a cool breeze all day. We walked to the beach and dinner, and had a grocery store close by. It is well maintained and very clean with a beautiful pool area if you are so inclined. The owner met us with the keys and explanations on how to use the amenities, and was readily available for assistance if needed. We would definitely go back again.

"Excellent apartment, location and friendly owners"

We stayed in this apartment with our 4 year old daughter and had an excellent time. The owners took the time to show us round and were very approachable if we had any further questions throughout the holiday. The apartment was immaculate and had all of the amenities that you would expect for a comfortable self-catering holiday. The rooftop terrace was an added bonus as the sun stayed there long into the evening and it was a luxury to have our breakfast up there in the morning! The beach, marina and shops were all a reasonable distance away, even with a young child, and the train services were excellent if you wanted to venture further afield. The pool area was well kept and spacious. We would wholeheartedly recommend anybody to stay here and would love to visit again soon! Thanks!

"Lovely apartment with everything you need plus great views"

Stayed in the apartment for two weeks. It is in a perfect location only 10 minutes walk to the beach/marina/shops. A lovely welcome from the owners on arrival. First thing you notice is how clean the apartment is with a spacious living room leading out to a flowered patio. On the main floor their is a master bedroom with a bathroom and also a separate shower room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday (even a dishwasher). Up the spiral staircase is a bedroom which has an amazing very private roof top terrace. The pool and pool area is kept very clean and well maintained.
Overall the apartment is well kept and very clean we had an amazing 2 weeks and will definitely be using the apartment again.
