Virgen del Mar is located in La Carihuela, a traditional fisher area in Torremolinos, between the center and Puerto Marina (Benalmádena)

The apartment is just 5 minutes walking from the beach, 10 minutes by car or bus from Málaga Costa del Sol airport (bus stop one minute walking). You can find a wide range or restaurants, chiringuitos, shops, a supermarket, the big Parque de la Batería park a night life on foot. Touristic attractions can also be reached by public transport as Aqualand (aquatic park), Tivoli (amusement park), Selwo Marina, Sea Life, Benalmádena cable car up to the mountains, the crocodile park, Puerto Marina… Big shopping areas are nearby such as Plaza Mayor or Puerto Banús (Marbella). Málaga city is only 30 minutes away by bus where you can also connect to other charming cities as Sevilla, Granada, Córdoba, Ronda…

The Andalucia region

Torremolinos is one of the cities located in the Costa del Sol (together with Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Marbella and Estepona) and the closest to Málaga and the airport.

Sun and beach are the keywords to describe this area. Torremolinos is a mixture of folkloric life and touristic attractions: plenty of restaurants along the beach known as “chiringuitos”, famous because of their “espetos” (typical Málaga fish) are set in Torremolinos. San Miguel street, in the city center, is the ideal place to go shopping not only because of what you can buy but the typical southern Spanish architecture and atmosphere.

Very different attractions can be found in this city as amusements parks, cable car, gardens, aquatic parks, golf courses, pubs and discos.

The exact location of the apartment is shown on this website and you were even sent the streetview link. If the location is not exact holidaylettings has the right of removing the advert. Regarding the deposit, you didn't follow the procedure, however you did receive it on time. Anyway I am glad and proud to know that all our guests are really happy with the location and service that we offered, some of them even repeat their holidays with us.

"Vacances mémorables"

Nous avons séjourné au Virgen del Mar durant 6 semaines, soit du 31 janvier au 14 mars 2014. La description de l'appartement et les photos sur le site de Trip Advisor sont fidèles à la réalité. L'appartement est situé au 7ième et dernier étage d'un immeuble à condo avec une vue superbe sur la mer, sur une petite rue tranquille (cul-de-sac) et à 5-7 minutes de marche seulement de la plage Carihuela en empruntant la rue juste en face de l'immeuble. L'arrêt des bus principaux pour Malaga, Benalmadena ou Marbella est sur la rue juste en face de l'immeuble, donc très bien situé pour tous les déplacements en bus . Il en est de même pour la plupart des bus des excursions qui s'arrêtent à 2 pas de l'immeuble.
L'appartement est bien équipé, super propre et très ensoleillé. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par la propriétaire, laquelle a été d'une grande disponibilité dès le départ et tout au long de notre séjour.
Le quartier est tranquille et sécuritaire. L'appartement est particulièrement bien situé : à 10 minutes à pied, on peut trouver un Mercadona (immense marché d'alimentation complet) , la station de train, la rue piétonnière San Miguel qui est un incontournable pour ses boutiques, la place de la Nogalera avec ses nombreuses terrasses, le Paseo Maritimo avec ses boutiques et restaurants-terrasses sur le bord de la mer, les rues animées du centre ville de Torremolinos. Un espace de stationnement intérieur est disponible pour l'appartement, ce qui est exceptionnel pour Torremolinos. Le Wifi dans l'appartement est d'une excellente qualité et nous avons apprécié particulièrement. Très belle piscine avec vue sur la mer. Immeuble très bien entretenu.
Seul petit hic et sans plus d'importance, l'immeuble n'est pas tellement bien insonorisé et le bruit des voisins se fait entendre occasionnellement, surtout venant de l'appartement d'en dessous. Par contre, à partir de très tôt en soirée et durant toute la nuit, c'est la tranquillité assurée et on entend absolument rien. C'est un des endroits les plus paisibles pour dormir que nous avons connus. Et au réveil, tous ces matins magnifiques avec ces levers de soleil sur la mer qui envahissent de lumière tout l'appartement. Des moments inoubliables.
En résumé, nous avons passé des vacances exceptionnelles à cet endroit et nous n'hésitons pas à le recommander fortement. Pour notre part, nous y retournerions sans hésiter.
