The apartment is superbly situated in the lovely Erisa 1 complex in the Montemar district – this is a very popular area located on the border between Benalmadena and Torremolinos. The complex features very well maintained private gardens, swimming pool with sunbathing terrace and secure parking (with remote control electronic gates).
The apartment is positioned on the ground floor with good access – it is easily accessible for mobility scooters / wheelchairs (no steps). The apartment has recently been refurbished and has been fitted throughout with new furnishings - It is very well presented and comfortable.
The apartment has Sea Views from the outside patio terrace area and has a small lawn that overlooks the beautiful tranquil gardens and swimming pool. It has full sunshine from early morning.
The beachfront and promenade are only 150 metres away - the nearby beaches are superb and the promenade is lined with a selection of restaurants and authentic Spanish beach bars. The award winning Benalmadena Marina and very popular La Carihuela district are both within an easy 5 minute walk.
In the surrounding area, there are numerous supermarkets, bars, shops and a wide selection of restaurants to suit all tastes – Traditional Spanish, Mexican, International Cuisine, Italian, Pizzerias, Indian and Chinese.
Entrance to the complex is via security gates at the front and rear - there is an intercom link in the apartment which enables communication with visitors and the facility to open the front gate.

Erisa 1 is a lovely complex, built in the traditional Andalusian style - it features enclosed and very well maintained private gardens.
It has a good sized swimming pool with sunbathing terrace and secure parking (with remote electronic gates) for a hire car. The apartment is positioned on the ground floor with good access for the less mobile (no steps) – it is easily accessible for mobility scooters / wheelchairs.
Out of the front gates and you are straight on the main road with shops, bars and restaurants.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol remains one of Europe's top holiday destinations with over 300 days sunshine per year.
There is something for everyone who holidays here - over 70 golf courses to choose from, as well as other activities such as sailing, diving, horse riding or just relaxing at one of the many beautiful sandy beaches along the coast.
If you want to do some sightseeing then there are many excursions into the real Spain with the cities of Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Granada all easily visited on tours. If you want to go further afield then you can take a trip across the Straits of Gibraltar to visit Tangier in Morocco.

The Torremolinos area
THINGS TO DO IN BENALMADENA
Renting an apartment near Benalmadena gives you the opportunity to explore over 8km of fabulous blue flag beaches. There are not only the wide, sweeping, fine sandy beaches synonymous with the Costa del Sol, but small cove beaches where the atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed. The Puerto Marina in Benalmadena is the focus for not only luxury yachts and boats offering excursions and sea fishing trips but also the heart of Benalmádena's nightlife scene.
To entertain the children, here are a few of the local attractions which are an easy walk or short taxi ride away:
Tivoli World Amusement Park situated in the town of Arroyo de la Miel offers a variety of fairground rides and live entertainment.
Mijas and Benalmadena Pueblo - these traditional Spanish villages with whitewashed houses and quaint streets within 20 minutes by car or a short bus/taxi journey
Selwo Marina with its sea lions and dolphins is located near Parque de la Paloma - the park is also well worth visiting
Sealife Centre (in the Marina) has the largest shark collection in Europe.
The Costa del Sol is a superb destination for golf, with over 70 courses situated along the coast. The Torrequebrada course is particularly good and located only a short 5-minute drive away.
THINGS TO DO IN TORREMOLINOS
The main street in Torremolinos, Calle San Miguel, is a smart bustling pedestrianised street lined with charming little shops. At the end of the street you can find numerous restaurants and bars - an excellent place to sit, have a drink and watch the world go by !
Torremolinos has great beaches and promenade with activities like Windsurfing, paragliding and water skiing available. The countryside behind Torremolinos is a great location for walkers and mountain bikers who wish to explore the landscape. For the children, Torremolinos Aquapark provides a great fun day out, with water slides, artificial wave machines and has a Sea Life Aquapark situated next door.
THINGS TO DO IN MALAGA CITY
Malaga is the birthplace of Picasso, so anyone with even a passing interest in art should visit the Picasso museum. The ancient Moorish Castle, now a hotel, and the vast Baroque Cathedral are also well worth visiting. The official Malaga Tour Bus offers wonderful sightseeing tours and is an ideal way to get the most out of your first visit to the city.
The restaurants and cafes in the city centre are a real treat with a real "café culture" atmosphere. Many lazy hours can be spent sipping coffee and watching the world drifting by. There are plenty of shopping opportunities with chic boutiques lining the pedestrianised streets in the centre of town. The nightlife in Malaga varies from the traditional bodegas serving local wines and tapas to the contemporary bars so there is no shortage of places

The apartment is in Montemar which is situated directly on the border between Benalmadena Costa and Torremolinos. To help with location, the complex is directly opposite the Rui Nautilus Hotel.
It is 16km west of Malaga on the Costa del Sol, Southern Spain. As an indication, It is approximately a 5 minute drive to Torremolinos, 20 minutes to Fuengirola and 40 minutes to Marbella.
A car is not essential but there is a secure car parking space if one is required - this is accessed via remote control electronic gates.
Malaga airport is only a 15 - 20 minute drive / taxi ride away and there are excellent transport links between the Airport and the apartment.
There is a train station within Malaga Airport - the train runs every 20 minutes. The nearest train station to the apartment is at El Pinillo – approximately 0.5 miles away. The train journey to El Pinillo takes around 10 minutes and the cost is approximately 1.4 Euro.
A taxi from the airport costs approximately 20 - 25 Euros - there are several taxi ranks located very close to the apartment complex.
There is an excellent car hire company adjoining the apartment that offers very reasonable rental rates. They will collect you from the airport and drop you off at the end of your stay – please ask if you would like further details.
Bus stops are close by – with routes to Torremolinos, Mijas and Fuenigrola and other places of interest.

We had a great 2 week holiday at the apartment - all aspects of the booking were extremely professional and the facilities and location were perfect.
Only thing I would complain about is not being able to stay another 2 weeks !
I have booked to go back already !!

A 20% securing deposit is required at the time of placing the booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure. The weekly rental charge includes towels (not beach towels) and includes cleaning of the apartment, electricity and hot water.
