About the home
Bright spacious apartment with sea view. The resort is very Spanish family orientated, and you will see them strolling along the pretty promenade every evening. After a day relaxing on the beach or in the pool, there are over 300 bars and restaurants to choose from. Also excellent fish restaurants on the beach with sardines cooked on the barbecue, excellent wines and coffee. The bus service is efficient and cheap and easy to use, to go to places like Nerja, which is a 20 minute bus ride along the coast. There are trips to Alhambra Palace in Granada, or the local bus to Malaga, the home of Picasso. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets in Torre Del Mar, and also the local market is held just round the corner from the apartment every Thursday.

Modern, bright and airy apartment with tiled floors throughout. The lounge has patio doors onto balcony, dining table with six chairs, satellite television, sideboard, large settee. The main bedroom has double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. The second bedroom has two single beds with built in wardrobe. The bathroom has basin, vanity unit, shower, bidet and toilet. The kitchen has large fridge, electric cooker, and is fully equipped with crockery and utensils. All bedding and towels are provided.

There is a free outside gym across the road from apartment, plus childrens' play area. The promenade is very wide and stretches as far as the Marina at Caleta, which is a lovely walk. The nearest supermarket is just round the corner plus a local paper shop. There are cafes all along the front. Plenty of banks, shops and restaurants. Internet cafes where you can make cheap phone calls home. The bus station is a 10 minute walk away, where you can take buses to Malaga and various places of interest.

Costa Del Sol has one of the best climates in Europe. There are many places of interest to visit. Nerja is a attractive fishing resort, with a beautiful coastline, and is about half an hour by local bus. The Nerja Caves are worth a visit, which were discovered in 1959. The magnitude of the chambers and variety of rock formation are an unforgettable sight. The Caves contain archeological remains, such as cave drawings and utensils used by the different prehistoric peoples who lived in the Caves. Concerts are also held there at certain times of the year. Alhambra Palace in Granada is well worth a visit, although it is best to to go on an organised tour, as you definitely need a guide to show you around and explain the history. It is a beautiful place.
The Torre del Mar area
There is a very attractive promenade which stretches along to the Marina at Caleta,. There are many local festivals which take place throughout the year. The blessing of the fishes which takes place in July and the festival of the farmers, where the women, dressed in their local flamenco costumes, ride stallions through the streets, and there are floats decked out with flowers with people giving out wine and beer. The bullocks are also paraded through the streets. A fun day for young and old.
