Our spacious holiday cottage sleeps 6 in three bedrooms, (one double, one twin and one room with bunk beds). The house also boasts a private drive (parking available for 2 cars) and sun trap landscaped gardens. To the rear, the cottage has views over the Petit Tor Downs, Torquay Golf Course and Watcombe.
The closest beach is Oddicombe, a 14 year consecutive winner of the Blue Flag Award and designated Euro Beach. If you choose to take the Cliff Railway, Oddicombe is a 15 minute walk or if you prefer the path Oddicombe and adjoining Babbacombe are a 20 minute walk. Other beaches at circa 15 minutes are Watcombe and Whitsand.

Torquay is in the heart of the English Riviera in the region of Torbay on the south coast of Devon. It is a picturesque area made up of old fishing villages, long sandy beaches, large Victorian villas and family-oriented resorts. There is a variety of activities to enjoy including water sports, cliff/coastal walks, museums, open farms, model villages and more.
Torquay / St Marychurch area
The cottage is within a 5 minute drive of the brand new 21 million pound Marina Development. Torquay is at the hub of the English Riviera, with multiple attractions. As well as the Riviera Centre, which is a combined pool (with wave machine), sports centre and theatre complex, Torquay also boasts a new Aquarium, Aqualand and the Princess Theatre. Torquay has long had an extremely active jazz scene, which culminates in an annual jazz festival. The resort features continental style cafes, specialist shopping and an exuberant night-life. Close to St Anns is the smaller Babbacombe Theatre and local sporting facilities include bowls, putting, tennis and golf.

Further details indoors: The accommodation consists of a lounge with 3-seater and 2-seater sofas and an armchair. There is also a TV and DVD player and coffee table. The dining room consists of a dining table and 6 chairs along with 2 urcol sideboards, which provide plenty of storage space. There is also an easy chair and standard lamps. The fully fitted kitchen includes a fridge and separate freezer, oven and hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster etc. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is beautifully decorated with a cherry laminate floor, double bed with bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, large wardrobe, hand wash basin and cot on request. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table, wardrobe and hand wash basin. The smaller 3rd bedroom has bunk beds and chest of drawers. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower overhead, hand wash basin with mirror overhead and separate WC. The house has been recently decorated.
Further details outdoors: The garden is fully enclosed, which makes it suitable for families who wish to bring their pets.
Conditions
Dogs and cats allowed. We also charge a security bond of £100, which will be refunded after the holiday providing there are no breakages and that the cottage is left in a good state. We charge an optional £15, if guests would like us to provide linen. Please note guests must bring their own towels.
