Hilly Gardens Cottage is a lovely cottage with two bedrooms, one double and one twin (2' 6" beds) including a lounge with TV, freeview and video player, dining area with seating for 4 and conservatory area to relax in. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc. Bathroom with bath and shower. central heating.
The property is situated in a good location with easy access to local amenities including shops, banks, local theatre, restaurants etc. Babbacombe Downs and Oddicombe Beach are also in easy walking reach. The property is an idea base to explore the surrounding area, there is plenty to see and do within walking distance.
The property has a lovely courtyard garden with roses and honeysuckle in abundance. Sit and enjoy Al Fresco dining in the evenings!

The West Country / Devon region
Torquay has something for everyone. For families it has lots of lovely sandy beaches, a couple within walking distance of the property. It has Babbacombe model village, in the summer months includes a laser show. Paignton zoo is within driving distance. Cinema's, bowling, play areas, LIving Coasts (sea birds etc), golfing, tennis courts, there are too many to mention. However within the property is a welcome guide which contains more detailed information about the area. If there is anything specific you wish to know please do not hesitate to contact me.
Torquay / St Marychurch area
Torquay is known as the English Riviera, for its warm climate and its palm trees.
The St Marychurch and Babbacombe area have a good selection of pubs and eating places, including an award winning fish and chip shop just off the downs and a fantastic italian restaurant called Milan Milan, again just off the downs.
Further into Torquay there are restaurants catering for every taste, including mexican, italian, indian, chinese, american etc.
There is also plenty of night life in Torquay town centre.
New to Torquay is the hot air balloon, in which you can enjoy a ride and see fantastic views of Torquay.
During the winter months in Torquay you can visit the Model Village at St Marychurch - it has a fantastic christmas winter wonderland where the whole model village is covered in snow with father christmas - great for the children. Paignton Zoo has santa's grotto with real life reindeer.

Refundable breakages deposit of £50 required at the time of the final payment, to be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
