* Wooden flooring throughout; some rugs. * Gas central heating throughout and woodburner in living room; logs are free. * Parking for 4+ cars in courtyard. * A cot can be provided. * Wall mounted 47 inch plasma tv in kitchen/diner, 32 inch flat screen tv in sitting room,, CD / radio, washing machine / tumble dryer, microwave, fridge / freezer, separate fridge, dishwasher, oven and hob. * There is a wi-fi connection to the internet but, frankly, it is unreliable. We are working on improving it but, at present, it should not be relied upon. *One of the double beds can be arranged as twins. In the fifth bedroom are bunks. These can be arranged as twins. Or, there is a possibilty of a further single bed or bunks to raise capacity to 11 or 12.. Please specify bed arangements when booking. Bunks, especially the top bunks, are not recommended for adults/large children.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE SWIMMING POOL and TENNIS COURT; Both pool and court are open from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm during which time guests have exclusive use. The pool is heated in April, May, June and September and October. But not in July and August.

The Property lies just off the Newton Abbot to Totnes road and, as such, is handily located for Torbay, Dartmoor, historic Exeter, Dartmouth and Salcombe.
The Torquay / Abbotskerswell area
Abbotskerswell is a village set in a valley surrounded by fields. It has a church, village shop, Post Office and two pubs all within a 5 minute walk of the Coach House. Both pubs serve food.

Location: The Coach House lies on the outskirts of Abbotskerswell, a village just off the Newton Abbot to Totnes road. It is handily placed for the Moors, Torbay and the South Hams (Dartmouth, Salcombe, Kingsbridge, Burgh Island, Bantham etc.). Exeter is about 20 minutes drive to the North West. For steam buffs, the preserved steam lines between Paignton and Kingswear and Littlehempston and Buckfastleigh are within easy reach. Totnes, from which you can take a cruise down the Dart, is 15 minutes away.
