The West Country region

Devon has a wealth of coastal towns and villages many award winning and all within driving distance. In the centre of Devon is the beautiful Dartmoor and only 20 mins from Torquay with the eye catching tors, hills, wildlife and little villages and historic churches.

The Jewel of the crown of Devon is the English Riviera which hosts Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, not forgetting the Historic and picturesque village of Cockington.


The heart of the town is the harbour which is lined with cafes, bars and restaurants; a great place to watch the world go by. From here, take a pleasant stroll along the marina with the area's trademark palm trees, or hop on a boat for a cruise across the bay or round to Dartmouth.

Meet the Penguins and other wildlife at the The Living Coasts which is only 2 mins from apartment, or go see a top rated show at the Princess Theatre, or go shopping at the famous harbourside Pavilion. Fancy a walk along the harbour and onto Torre Abbey Sandy beach and then to the historic Torre Abbey itself, or even an Agatha Christie boat tour? all within walking distance from the apartment. With five Torquay beaches currently holding Blue Flag Awards for cleanliness and quality, you really are spoilt for choice.

Torquay is host to many more attractions,so why not explore the world in miniature at Babbacombe Model Village, or unearth prehistoric remains at the famous caves Kents Cavern where they also do ghost tours in the summer months (not to be missed), or look through the history at the Torquay Museum.

No holiday to The English Riviera would be complete without a visit to Cockington. This idyllic village is hidden in a deep valley just one mile from the bustle of Torquay. Cockington court has 450 acres of parkland, woodland and lakes to explore. In the centre of Cockington amongst the pretty thatched cottages stands Cockington Forge. This is one of the most photographed buildings in the country, and dates from the 14th century. At the end of the cricket field is the stately manor house, Cockington Court. These are open 7 days a week, free of charge and feature handcrafted glassware, Paintings, and handmade jewellery to name but a few.

"Lovely apartment"

thank you for your feedback, we are glad you made the most of your visit. Our aprtment is south facing in the courtyard with a nice seat outside to enjoy the sun all day, and the security of the courtyard whcih only residents can access. Also within walking distance is the Torquay Theatre with shows all year round. Dont forget Babbacombe Downs also with a theatre only a 5 min drive and smashing views over the sea, walks and a cable car down to the beach.

"Lovely Torquay"

The Apartment was absolutely lovely. Location was fantastic. My only moan was the car parking but thats Torquay for you, once I found a parking space I did not dare move my car in case I lost it.… More

thankyou for your feedback. Torquay is a very popular resort and parking is a premium. We provide free parking permits, and theres spaces around the back with a gate into the Mews from the back road, its also level access. On very busy days, there is always parking without the need for permits just 3-5 mins walk up the road. I would advise that you make the most of Torquay by getting out and about and visit Paignton, Cockington, Brixham etc and not to worry about parking,theres always a space somewhere nearby, and theres so much to see and do, although even without a car or if you dont want to drive, theres so much within walking distance such as the Harbour, shops, beach, Cinema, Bowling, restaurants, bars, Living Coasts Zoo with penquins, museum, boat trips, golf, Kents Caverns, Model Village, parks and leisure centres.

"Fantastic accomodation, close to everything"

Stayed for 3 nights in March with our granddaughter..Everything wee needed was under one roof, spacious apartment with all mod cons. Lovely & clean on arrival. Parking was ourside the apartment and we had a free permit to use throughout our stay. A great base for exploring, close to the harbour & town centre..

We always supply parking permits so you will always have no problem parking for all of your stay. We have also recently updated all the toys in the apartment as well as increase substantially the number of Wii games for the kids and a new cd player with cd's for the family. "A very clean, comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of the town"

The surprise Christmas gifts left for us were a lovely touch and much appreciated. There was even a Christmas tree. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped and only a very short walk to the Harbour and town centre. All in all, a lovely stay. Thank you Tony and Claire.

we try to make it a home from home and appreciate xmas is difficult to be away from home so we left some goodies and a tree to make it more christmassy. and always respond and action on feedback. were very pleased guests are enjoying their stay in our holiday home.

"fantastic holiday could not get better cottage"

location fantastic, very near to harbour, cottage can only be described as 5 star, beds very comfy, kids loved it by having wi-fi, wii with games, toys most were new, and even had buckets and spades a… More

"Terrific Torquay - delivers what it promises"

Everything about this place was good - even the weather did it's bit! Perhaps the hill to the property would be a downer (or upper) for some but we found the walk invigorating! I loved this place because of its amenities, cleanliness and all round excellent service.

Thanks for the feedback, theres some lovely walks around Torquay and Torbay. We always listen to feedback on what essentials are needed in the apt. This yr we have added, toys, Wifi, free parking tickets, tourist information leaflet stand, a new guest information book, some historic pictures, postcards and flyers from Torquay in the old days, brand new oven, hob and fridge freezer, fire extinguisher, etc. Please keep the ideas coming.

"Beautiful appartment, great location!"

20 Trinity Mews is a beautiful modern apartment also very private and secure due to the big gates and password combinations. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! great location close to harbor and all amenities! lovely powerful shower and clean through out! having the wii and free wifi was a great bonus when the weather wasn't so great!
However mattress cover was very noisy like sleeping on newspaper, waking us up when one turned over and some noise from next door late at night and early morning! however this did not ruin our stay! parking was an issue there was never any parking to the front of the apartment however we were lucky to find a space at the back most nights. just a short walk away! the free parking permits are great and an absolute must!

Thankyou for your kind words and feedback. We have now replaced all matress protectors to cotton ones where you will not know they are there. There are plenty of parking spaces, especially around the back, and all permits are now free for guests and are in the guest book. there is a back gate to the Mews, so parking around the back is usually the most convenient.
