If you want a peaceful break in a beautiful Cornish seaside village which is surrounded by lovely countryside and lots of great coastal and inland walking country, this is the place for you.

The Rame Peninsular is known as "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner" because it is largely ignored by the crowds rushing down to the beaches further west in Cornwall.

Quite simply the best positioned holiday cottage in the twin seaside villages of Cawsand and Kingsand. Great sea views and the beach is literally yards away from the front door.

The West Country / Cornwall region

The twin seaside villages of Cawsand and Kingsand joined into one many years ago. Sheltered in the lee of the Rame Peninsula from the prevailing SW wind, these charming villages feature narrow lanes lined with cottages and this was an active location for smuggling contraband into England many years ago.

The Torpoint area

Mount Edgecumbe Park is a short walk from Kingsand. A former stately home and a huge estate, this was donated by the former owners to Plymouth Ciy Council and features formal gardens and a deer park.

National Trust Property - Antony House is not far away and on a wet day the City of Plymouth is a short drive or ferry ride away.

From Plymouth, take the ferry to Torpoint then follow A374 towards Liskeard. Turn left at the village of ANTONY, then left on the T-junction. Carry on through Millbrook, then turn right by the school. Just past the housing estate turn left into Kingsand. Skinners car park is on the right. Turn left by the post office through a narrow gap. Norcott2 is at the end of this seafront road
