The house is about 4 years old, and is a very large single story building set on its own in some acres of uncultivated land, which slopes down to a stand of beautiful trees shading a small river. Great for older children to roam around.
This is a delightful, luxurious, and very spacious property with everything needed for a relaxing stay. It is very quiet and tranquil, and completely private here. You are roughly equidistant from two villages, Alozaina, which has a small supermarket, various shops and cafes and a market on Tuesdays, and Tolox which is a charming old "white village" straggling up the hill, also with shops e.t.c. and a popular venta (cafe). The whole area is charmingly rural, and certainly would be perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday in Spain.The acres of private land slope down to a stand of huge eucalyptus trees shading a river along which you can walk, fish, and swim. The house is 8 minutes from the start of the Sierra de la nieves which is a huge mountainous national park with stupendous views and ideal for walking , driving, or trekking.More information at house for shopping, eating out etc. and my son is your manager and lives about 20 minutes away so quickly available for help and advice. To sit at dusk on the terrace with a glass of wine while looking over the pool to the distant mountains, is a really tranquill pleasure.Directions available from airport to house, and a welcome pack can be ordered for an extra 35 euros. The property is within a couple of hours drive to Granada, Cordoba, Seville, or these can be reached by high speed train from Malaga.The famous town of Ronda is an hours drive away.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Malaga region is blessed with many well-known vbeaches, attracting a whole host of holiday makers. The region is hot in the summer, and not too cold in the winter. Marbella, 45 mins away is a centre for the rich and famous, with many restaurants, designer shops and boutiques, if that's your thing!
Gibraltar is just over an hour away, and is well worth a visit to experience a slice of Britishness in the climate of the Mediterranean. The Barbary apes are certainly worth seeing, but be careful of their thieving nature when it comes to food!
There are also plenty of historic towns and cities in the area, including Seville, Granada and Ronda not too far from the house.
Tolox area
In Tolox there is a very famous spa which attracts many Spanish visitors in the summer. From the house you can drive up into the Sierra Nieves Mountains, a national park. This is excellent for walking and hiking in, and provides some stunning views of the region.
Both Tolox and Alozaina and about 8 minutes away, and both have plenty of places to eat, and things to do around the local area. The best type of holiday to use this house for is quite simply to come here, enjoy the place, and relax in the luxurious surroundings.You can walk or fish or swim in the river at the bottom of the land, or drive through Tolox and up into the mountains of the Sierra de Nieves which go on for miles and is great for stupendous views, walking, driving, hiking.

Further details indoors: The house has three very large and airy bedrooms, one with twin beds, a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle, and a large en-suite to the master bedroom without a bath, but with a large shower. Both bathrooms have a dressing table and there is a third separate toilet.
The House has marble floors throughout. There is a double height lounge/dining room, with an arch to a lovely large kitchen/diner. There is a large study with a a double futon which, opened up, could sleep and extra one or couple for the odd night or two. Through the front door you enter a charming andalusian style patio with flower filled pots around a fountain. This is a very nice retreat to perhaps curl up with a book soothed by the sound of the fountain.
The house is air-conditioned throughout, each room having its own thermostat which can be set to whatever temperature one is comfortable with, this also provides central heating in the winter months. In the lounge is a plasma TV with Sky, internet broad band connection in the study, and the kitchen is complete with washing up machine, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, electric mixer e.t.c. A covered terrace runs the width of the house with dining table and chairs as well as a sofa, and two flights of steps lead to the( heated if required, for an extra charge) 10x5pool and further terraces with sun beds and another table , chairs and umberella for shade. The views are lovely, and you have complete privacy there as the house stands alone in its own acres of land
Further details outdoors: Both double bedrooms have French doors opening onto the patio, and the main house is entered from doors off the patio. Outside is a wide covered terrace running along the width of the house, accessed from kitchen and lounge, plus another terrace where the swinging hammock sits. On the terrace is a table and chairs for al fresco eating, also a sofa and a barbecue with a gas bottle. This terrace has a proper roof so there is always shade here. From the terrace two flights of steps lead down to the pool area terraces where there are sun loungers and another table and chairs with a shading umbrella. The pool is about 10 by 5, and is being changed to a salt system pool.
The price to pay for all this beauty and tranquillity is that the access to the house is via a rough country track which can be a bit daunting until you get used to it! A car is absolutely essential, and should ideally be a four wheel drive.
