Leban holiday house offers the charm of an old traditional house with just everything you need for a comfort living when visiting Soca Valley. Built in 1928, now completely renowned in traditional architecture style of old Soca Valley houses with its massive rock walls and wooden balcony. The house stretches out on 80m2 and has three bedrooms on the first floor each with two beds. On lever floor two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room and big living room are situated. The house has room for 6 people.
In front of the house there is a private garden, where you can enjoy on comfortable chairs and help yourselves from a bar (barbecue). There is also a small children playground in the garden. Private car park available.

The Goriska region
Holiday house LEBAN offers its guests an excellent starting point for discovering the rich history and beauty of the Soca Valley and Julian Alps with their natural and cultural attractions. Triglav national park starts practically just behind the house. With vast number of mountain paths, gorges, waterfalls, caves, glacier, rare animals and many other to explore and enjoy. You can enjoy all kinds of sport activities in the Soca Valley: fishing, canyoning, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, hiking, parachuting, rafting …
In the area there are many excellent restaurants (some of Michelin rate), where you can taste the local cuisine. We also suggest to visit the mountain cottages where best traditional cheese (Tolminc) is made in Slovenia.
Tolmin area
Tolmin has many WWI attractions: the German and Austrian cemetery, the Austrian church, museum, the fortifications, old army mountain paths, bridges etc. (Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms which spokes about WWI in Soca Valley also). There is a bridge from Napoleon times, castle in ruins and many other attractive sites.
Soca Valley is surrounded by Julian Alps, mountains up to 2864m high (Triglav), with many lakes, gorges in the valley, waterfalls, old bridges ... The valley attracts many fisherman’s to fly fish the Salmo trutta marmoratus - Soca trout, the Soca's best fish. For more active people water sports, paragliding, mountain biking and trekking in the area offers great possibilities to enjoy and actively spend your holdiays.
Further there are many cultural attractions in the area with some genuine villages like Cadrg, Krn and Dreznica, local gastronomical specialties, cottage cheese (Tolminc) for instance and lots more (local made spirits are a must to try!).
The best time to visit Soca Valley is practically all year around, with different kind of active time spending possibilities through the season.
How to get there
Fly to Trieste or Ljubljana with Ryanir or EasyJet. Head for Tolmin, Soca Valley by road or train.
