About the home

The house was reconstructed from an 1928 old house in its best architectural way typical of the region. It offers great comfort, all the amenities and a private garden to enjoy the splendid climate between the Julian Alps on the north and the Mediterranean on the south.

Leban holiday house offers all the charm of an old traditional house with just everything you need for a comfort living. The house stretches out on 80m2 and has three bedrooms on the first floor. On lever floor two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room and living room are situated. The house has room for 6 people.

Private garden in front of the house a small children playgorund and a private parking place sums up all the comfort you need while staying at Leban holdiay house in Soca Valley.

The Goriska region

Between the Alps and the Mediterranean sea - That’s the best description for Soca Valley location.

Hiking in the morning, reaching the tops of over 2000m high, easy accessible mountains, with the view on Triglav, Slovene’s highest peak at 2864, Dolomites in Italy to the west and down to the Adriatic sea on the south. The views here are just incredible.

With Soca river down in the valley which amuses with its green colors you cannot see anywhere else. Fun place for hit summer bathing, child play, picnics and more.

The Soca Valley area is well known of its good wines down in Goriška Brda and caw cheese named Tolmin’c, made in Tolmin’s area mountain pastures.

All the area is known for excellent natural (ECO) food production so no wonder there are several well known restaurants with delicious gastronomy offer.

Try the place and experience it by yourself. Until now nobody left unimpressed!

The Tolmin area

WWI had its most crucial day in Soca Valley. At Kobarid where today you’ll find a WWI museum, one of the best in EU according to its nominations, you can experience even today all the infrastructure that was build more than half a century back.

There plenty of natural and cultural heritage in the valley where Julian Alps meet the Dinaride mountains which extend all the way down to the Balkans.

There is plenty of pure water sources which sum up a Soca river. A river of many wonders. One of them is Soca trout, a famous fish which attracts fisherman’s and gastronomy lovers.

Water activities in Soca rivers like kayak, rafting and more can be done here of course, plus paragliding from Stol or Kobala, one of the best places in Europe for thermal conditions.

Valley offers splendid hiking tours on plenty of walking paths reaching the tops of most interesting mountains here around. And the view from them it’s just amazing.
