House | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Our charming 4 bedroom house is located in the rural village of Poljubinj (pronounced 'Poll-you-bin'), 2 kilometres from Tolmin in the heart of the Soca Valley with panoramic views of the Juliana Alps. To the side of the house next to our barn there is a south-facing garden terrace with a pergola covered with grape vines to shade you from the sun which shines here all day. There is parking for three cars and the village has a local bar. The house is ideal for family, romantic or small group holidays.
The house has recently been renovated to high standard and is arranged over two floors. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a living room with a wood burning stove, a dining room, a bathroom with a power shower and a utility room with washing machine. The dining room can be made into a single bedroom should you need extra accomodation (the dining table can be moved into the lounge on request). The second floor has a master double bedroom, a single bedroom and double bunk bedroom. It also has a large family bathroom with an antique cast iron bathtub, great for bathing the children!
There is a lovely patio garden behind our barn, next door to the house. Our pergola here will shade you from the sun while you barbeque, and grape vines are growing over the pergola. You can pick these and have them with your wine!
