"Dont just stay in Shinjuku.. Live in it"

I'm travelling all over Japan at the minute and so far I've had a taste for all types of accommodation- hotel, ryokan and apartments. All very different in terms of service offered, amenities available and style.

Without a doubt I can say staying here has been the best accommodation experience I have had of Japan so far.

First off the location cannot be matched unless you stay at a high end, high expense hotel such as the Park Hyatt, (to which the apartment is literally across the street from).
Arriving into Shinjuku station the apartment is an easy ten minute stroll from any of the stations main gates.

Nestled between landmarks such as the Park Hyatt, BMW, Seattle Washington and the Tokyo Metropolitan Building it is easy to find and insanely easy to recall when travelling back from a day's exploring.

A great starting point for virgin and veteran travellers of Tokyo with insanely close access to Shinjuku JR station and various Subway lines all within short walking distance.

The Apartment itself is a modern, clean, bright space with a balcony overlooking the Hyatt. Enough space to fit a comfy double bed as well as a white leather sofa bed and still have plenty of room left over.

The bathroom is clean and well laid out.

The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook on the premises. Its a great opportunity for you to go to the local Family Mart, Lawson or 7/11, (All of which are numerous in the area, 24 hours and very cheap), purchase some ingredients and get a feel for living in Shinjuku.

Along with all the basic amenities, also included are Air-con, a digital tv, microwave, washing machine/ dryer and mobile slim Wi-Fi. All of which come with english instructions for idiots like this reviewer!

The majority of accommodation within Tokyo will offer free Wi-Fi, La Casa Nishi not only offers free Wi-Fi- but it offers free Wi-Fi you can travel around with you. At no extra charge you can make use of the Mobile Wi-Fi. It is a small router no larger than your hand that you charge overnight. The next morning as your getting ready to leave all you have to do is turn it on, put it in your bag or pocket and go on your way. Its fantastic and unbelievably convenient if you don't have 3g access in japan. I don't understand why more places don't have this life saving feature!

The last part of this review is dedicated to the staff who run and look after the apartment, one person in particular. I work in hospitality and I'd like to imagine ive been doing it long enough to know the difference between delivering customer service and then going beyond the needs of the customer and actually adding to their experience.

First off we arrived late into Shinjuku, not a problem. The key was left in a safe location along with instructions via e-mail on how to access it.

The next morning the representative came over to welcome us into the apartment and run through everything with us including sights and activities within the local area and tips about staying in Tokyo- for instance how much we should be paying for a meal and how much we'd be paying if we were getting ripped off.

I have very little memory of when I have had such a great experience with accommodation with such a large amount of it attributing to the staff looking after the place.

I've pretty much summed it all up about La Casa Nishi. Its an in-depth review but only because I felt it deserved that much as it is a great place to start, continue or finish your Japan travels in. For the week we stayed there, it didn't feel like a hotel room, it felt like your own place.

10/ 10 - I thoroughly recommend this accommodation. The apartment, location and customer dedication all come together to make your stay brilliant!

You will not regret staying here!

"The perfect Tokyo apparment."

I must say this was the best apartment I have stayed in out of the several apartments that I've had in Tokyo. It's newly renovated with new appliances, heater/air conditioner, cook top, wash… More

Thank you, we would do our best to keep the apartment in perfect shape and order. Your guidance about the neighborhood is very useful to our future guests. We are welcoming you back any time.
