Established in 1987 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned and ruined family houses were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character.
Vasilikos house is a complex of individual apartments with self-catering facilities in a well-equipped kitchenette, and central heating/air-conditioning and access to shared pool. Notice the thick walls, small windows, stone or wooden staircases so typical of our island’s architecture of yesteryear. On your veranda, in your patio or garden you can relax with a drink or a book any time of the day. In Tochni village our guests will enjoy the authentic traditional Cypriot cuisine of our Tochni Taverna.

The Larnaca District
Tochni village is a small and picturesque village, lies between Larnaca and Limassol. Set on the slopes of two hills, its stone-built houses line the narrow streets that wind their way to the beautiful church of Constantinos and Eleni.
A local supermarket, coffee shops and a bank mark the village square. The CYPRUS VILLAGES reception and our Tochni Tavern by the pool offer a panoramic view of the whole village, the serene countryside and the pristine sea below. Tochni village is centrally located allowing easy access to all main towns such as Larnaca, Lemesos and Lefkosia can all be reached from 20-40 minutes maximum. Paphos and the Troodos mountains can be reached in maximum one hour.

How to get there
Directions for those arriving by rental car:
As you leave the airport follow the signs to Limassol or Lemesos. Half way towards Lemesos the high way B1 will turn into highway A1. Drive on the high way A1. Turn out on exit 14, sign posted “Chirokitia-Tochni-Psematismenos-Maroni-1000m”. As you leave the highway turn right at the junction, follow the road under the bridge until the next junction at which you turn right again. After passing the petrol station there is an archaeological site and there you must turn right direction Choirokitia-Layia and then immediately left where there is a small church and a sign to Tochni Village. Keep driving straight on until you see the sign for Tochni Tavern, turn right here and then first left and straight up to the car park of Tochni Tavern.
At the end of the car parking area near the fence there is a stair case leading to the tavern/pool area where you will see the Cyprus Villages reception sign. Walking down the stairs you will find our Tochni Tavern and CYPRUS VILLAGES reception. Here you will be met by our representative who will welcome and escort you to your village/apartment. The keys to the apartments are always left in the apartment doors.
