"Delightful cottage, warm and welcom ing in a great location"
Taigh Ciuil is one of the best self catering cottages my husband and I have stayed in. It is ideally situated in Tobermory for exploring the beautiful Isle of Mull and we received a warm welcome wherever we went. Petrea has thought of everything as regards making the cottage welcoming and user friendly. The standards are top notch and the power shower is terrific! The view over Tobermory and the sea from the beautifully appointed lounge is just one of the highlights. We would recommend Café Fish and for a budget option the fish and chip van on the harbour! Don't miss visiting the Trishnish Isles (puffins are amazing) and also Iona and Ulva, both so peaceful.

"A fantastic cottage with a marvellous harbour view"
This cottage is fitted out to a very high standard. It is situated looking over the harbour - 15 minutes walk from the front up a fairly steep path. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are on the ground floor so that the very large lounge/dining area on the upper floor benefits from the wonderful view. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable. I do not believe there would be a better holiday cottage for two people in the town.
Thank you David...so pleased you both enjoyed yourselves. Kind wishes.

Stayed here with my husband and dog, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic modern clean house, just the right size for us, with wonderful views of the bay from the upstairs lounge windows. Five minutes walk down the hill into Tobermory, ok it's uphill on the way back but chance to walk off all the fantastic food and drink that is available along the harbour front. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be going back.

Taigh Ciuil is a pretty cottage that is very well equipped and cleverly planned with living room and dining room upstairs to appreciate views of Tobermory harbour. It has a lovely little garden with outdoor space to eat on a nice day. We loved Tobermory with its terrific seafood restaurants, bakery and gift stores.

"fabulous cottage, fabulous location, fabulous holiday"
The cottage was fab, beautifully finished and furnished. It had everything we could have wished for and more, Petrea had thought of everything. We enjoyed stunning views of the harbour from the lounge and bedroom windows and breakfast with views on the terrace most mornings making it a very memorable stay. We had a great week, wish it could have been longer and are planning our return.

"Lovely cottage with wonderful views"
We stayed in the cottage in May. We had to stay in on two days because of the weather, but it didn't matter as the cottage was so cosy and well equipped. The views from the lounge were wonderful - we never tired of looking out of the windows. The rooms were really clean and the bed comfortable too. This wasa really good base from which to explore the island. We highly recommend it.

"Home from home but with a great view."
The house is very well equipped and maintained in all aspects and spotlessly clean. There are lovely views from all the windows. It is very convenient for the town but beware of the uphill walk home! We loved Tobermory, there are plenty of good places to eat, and lots of walks and wildlife to enjoy.

"Amazing cottage in an amazing location!"
We spent 1 week on the Isle of Mull staying at Taigh Ciuil. We had an amazing time. The cottage is fantastic. Great location with views over the bay. The cottage was very clean with everything you could need for a stay and everything worked without a problem. Petrea was really helpful and made the whole process of booking really easy. Detailed instructions covering everything you need to know was supplied and the directions were really easy to follow. Petrea also helped us out with some questions around some activities we wanted to do on Mull and her advice was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending staying at this fantastic cottage and will definitely be coming back. Thank you Petrea for your lovely cottage and all your help. Highly recommended!

"Immaculate, cosy home from home"
I absolutely loved staying at Taigh Ciuil. I was looking to 'get away from it all' and the cottage was absolutely perfect - warm, comfortable, very clean, beautifully decorated and with everything you could wish for in self-catering accommodation. Tobermory harbour is visible from the kitchen, bedroom and lounge - it was just lovely waking up to hear the sea birds and opening the curtains to see the sea and Calne Island. The cottage is close to the centre of Tobermory (just 3 mins walk and you're harbourside) and have the benefits of being close to the shops, but far enough away to not feel like you're absolutely in the thick of it. I would recommend the cottage to anyone looking to stay on Mull. Tobermory is a fantastic base from which to explore Mull - I drove the stunning scenic route over to Fionnphort to make the trip to Staffa and Iona; visited Calgary Bay (beautiful beach and headland) and Dervaig; headed up to Ardmore... Craignure is just 40 minutes away when you need to get the ferry back. Next time I just need a longer stay to make the most of it! I'll definitely be back.
