The West Country region

Devon is a beautiful county with stunning scenery and beaches and lots of activities for all of the family to enjoy. Devon is particularly proud of its local produce and some of the finest food products in the UK and found in the West Country. Beef, lamb, pork, fabulous fish, cheese and the county is full of wonderful pubs and restaurants.

There is wonderful riding, walking, fishing, childrens activities everything one could possibly want in a family holiday or indeed a romantic break away.

You can spend days exploring beautiful Exmoor with its idyllic villages, wonderful churches and super country pubs.

Rolling green hills and wonderful wild moorland, stunning beaches, sand dunes, narrow country lanes, amazing night skies.

The area around West Anstey is very unspoilt with narrow sleepy country lanes.

Take time out and dont hurry and explore this glorious area . Buy a copy of Lorna Doone and lose yourself in the wonderful folk lore tales.

Exeter is 45 minutes away with its glorious cathedral and green, fabulous shops and restaurants, cycle hire and paths alongside the river.

The wonderful beaches of Saunton Sands, Braunton Burrows, Woollacombe, Croyde, Putsborough and Coombe Martin are all within one hour of the property.
