"A holiday worth travelling for"

I have stayed in Penlys many times, from 2005 onward, usually twice a year. I normally stay for 2 weeks in April/May and 2 weeks in September/October. The storage heaters and the log burning stove are very comforting on a cold night! Nothing is too much trouble for Sean who maintains the cottage and the surrounding gardens etc. to an excellent standard. In fact over this winter Sean has been working on the cottage (I've seen photos of the work that has been done). The cottage is very well equipped for a self catering holiday - cooker, fridge, microwave, bath & shower, T.V., Wi Fi and all the crockery etc. that you will need. It is, in my opinion, ideal for one or two people.
Courtyard Farm is in the small village of Lesnewth, just off the A39. It is near to the town of Camelford and a twenty minute drive from the A30 and the rest of Cornwall. As for local attractions, I usually spend a lot of time playing golf, so I'm not much use for recommending anywhere!
Thanks to its location Courtyard Farm is quiet and restful and if you like your holiday to be like this then it is the ideal place to spend a self catering holiday in Cornwall.
I travel 300 miles to get to Courtyard Farm, hence my title, "A holiday worth travelling for".
