Guest house | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Le Rocher is a traditional Normandy Longere. We bought our lovely house five years ago and, during this time, we have fully restored the property very much with bed & breakfast for our guests in mind. Le Rocher retains all its enormous charm but has the rather more modern attributes our discerning guests would expect. Nestled in a tranquil valley in perfect solitude, our bed and breakfast is still only two minutes from the small medieval town of Tinchebray and 15 minutes from the larger towns of Flers and Vire. Caen, the beaches and all the wealth of historic and tourist attractions are within easy reach. Alternatively, why not fully enjoy the uncomparable calm and tranquility here at Le Rocher and its environs for that longed-for break as we are properly licenced and registered for your peace of mind. We will do all in our power to ensure your stay with us is unforgettable whether you are passing through, holidaying, house-hunting (our language skills may be of help) or coming to celebrate a special occasion.
We have available two desirable double bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, finished to a high standard (alright, the floors creak a bit). The rooms are provided with tea and coffee making facilities. Guests have their own sitting room, complete with log-burning stove, French and English TV with DVD player, games, books and, above all, peace! If you just can't leave your computer at home, there's free WIFI too. But it isn't just bed and breakfast. We are happy to offer high quality meals, served in the guest's dining room. You won't be disappointed!

"We wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Le Rocher"
Le Rocher, with its air of peace and tranquility, is situated amidst green rolling countryside on the edge of the village of Yvrandes. It is a perfect base for exploring all that Normandy has to offer. The room was spacious, warm, clean and comfortable. Linda and Alastair were the perfect hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings with them savouring Linda's excellent cooking and drinking Alastair's selection of wines. We would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Le Rocher.
